yeah just wondering how the player contract situation works. is there a date that each year a player comes out of contract. like say we dont re-sign fev in the third year of his contract will he be out of contract for six months because we signed him in the middle of the year. also how does it work that a player falls through to the psd is there a date that a player must sign for a club or he will be in the psd. because i was just thinking when people say we may pick campo back up with our pick in the psd why we wouldnt just sign him not through the psd or is there a date when this doesnt become possible and we need to use the psd draft pick.

also i have read before and am intrested to know the ratio between players in the afl and media whose jobs are related with the afl. i can remember this was a very suprising stat and would be interested to hear it again as i cant remember it
