Not sure if the captain is included? Is it 7 players that make the leadership group? Here's mine:

Whitnall
Stevens
French

WAITE
THORNTON
WALKER

I know Walker is young and inexperienced but there's no one else really and could be good to give him some extra responsibility. If he's a leader might also make the old leaders pass the ball to him...

Not sure who could take up the 7th spot... If Lappin and Campo stay at the club I don't think they should be included. Not the type of players I want leading the CFC. Maybe Scotland, Carrazzo or Simpson could be given a go?

Prendergast was in there for 2005.

Might not be for 2006 though. 8)

I'd include Scotland in the leadership group, but I wouldn't burden Walker with it at the moment. He has plenty of time. What about Fev? Would it force him to show a new maturity?

Let's get some leadership first, then we can start talking about creating a leadership group.

How about we have as many or few in the leadership group as are worthy and not include guys for the sake of it.

Too many cooks spoil the broth. Marc Murphy can sort all of this out!! The only support Murphy is going to need will be supporters to carry the stretchers for any squibs stupid enough to get in his way!!!!

Leadership group....rubbish.... all we need is Marc Murphy and, if we are feeling generous a PA to take notes and see that his bidding is executed ruthlessley!!!

Hold off forming the leadership group until rnd 12 to see who deserves to be in it.

Good to see there's no need to overstate my role in the leadership of the club.

Sticks has been helping me out with that, and I really think I've helped a few of the boys come along.
