Not long to go now till the GF.

The footy food is ready to go.

Sitting here in my Carlton top that I wore to the Round 22 last year ( Carl 1pt win over Coll ) and watched the Essendon* Wizard Cup match ( on TV ), so it hasnt let me down yet......fingers crossed. I am also wearing my 2005 membership lanyard (which I got on Friday afternoon) which is attached to my work keys.

Whatever the result tonight I think we all have to be pretty proud of our club and what it has achieved to gain some respect again. It has been amazing to read all the postive media reports and some very insightful ones at that. I doubt any of us are proclaiming to go all the way this year, but we will improve, how much is another question, which will be based on some luck, skill and those football gods.

Our chances tonight are realistic, we have several in form top line palyers who are working as a team very well. I dont think many of us could claim to be a better side than WCE, but here and now we have a chance to snatch a trophy that would have to be ahead of anyones goals. Even a win tonight shouldnt has us believing the job is over. We are still building and teaching our young list, there will be down patches, but we now have a side that will have genuine pressure to retain spots in the senior team.

Time to get the couch comfy and get settled in. Go those Old Dark Navy Blues. We have the History its now time for the future.

:D

Yeah Bergs

I think whatever happens tonight, we have done well so far-although, I would like to see the Boys be competitive.
Nah, I want to see them win! But will be ok if we lose and are competetive.

Only early but WC height and weight advantage in their forward line could be a problem for us. Must maintain pressure in the midfield!
Go Big Red!!!

Fevvie kicks his first, after some good link up play with Teague and Lance.

8)

Carlton by 6pts... ooh Fev has another mark 30 out right in front. Good to see some quick movement out of the middle from the Best Man.

Fev 2 marks, Whitnall 3 marks, 80% inside 50. 8) Fev GOOOAAAAAAALLLLLSSS!!!

Carlton 0.3 2.20 v Eagles 0.1 2.8

3pts rushed behind for Carlton. Following on from a goal to Whitnall gives us a 3pt lead.

Mark inside 50 to Morell who passes to Lappin who apparently missed a sitter. 4pt lead now.

Carlton 0.5.6 (36) v Eagles 1.3.5 (32)
