"Koutoufides and Simon Wiggins come into the Carlton squad in place of Setanta O'hAilpin and Adam Bentick. The Blues elected not to take a chance with young utility Jarrad Waite who will miss with a minor hamstring strain."

wonder if there is any chance betts will get a run. betts for davies?

if davies is going to play a a foward all game then to be hnoest i'd rather have betts up there.

Davies shouldn't be dropped.
I was impressed with him on Saturday night.

Still reckon Karl might get the chop.

So Kouta and Wiggo in for ?? and ??

I hate to say it, but I reckon Johnno, along with Karl, might get the chop.

So...

IN: Kouta, Wiggins
OUT: Norman, Johnson

Very difficult with nearly a full list to pick from.

The only change I'd do is bring in Kouta for Johnno. Johnno will get his chance later on when we play at the "g" but for now stick with the young eager blokes to show what they've got in a high pressure match situation.

btw, thanks sas87

I wouldn't drop Karl. He might only need a run

4 from that list need to be chopped right? that's tough

Bowyer, Johnson, ......un... then it gets hard.

I hope Simmo remains. I bloody love him.

I think wiggins and betts will come into the side, we need as much pace as we can get. If you take the game against the demons they ran riot in the 2nd half we could not match them with pace but we won with smarts.
There pace will definately be a problem pace and smarts are needed to beat the eagles this week.

Although he's not one of my favourite players I don't see why Johnson should be dropped. IMO he deserves his place ahead of a few others and against the Weagles midfield we will need to get our hands on the ball more times than not. I drop Karl cos he has done bugger all for the last few weeks.

Karl - poor effort last week; replace with kouta

Johnson - keep him in, we need a couple of in and unders.

Unfortunate for Wiggo to miss.

Go blues

- watch for Prenda to play his best pre-season to date.
- arch will get more of the ball as they double up on lance and fev
- livo will close out lynch
- chambers to go BOG

Speaking of Karl, just can't get used to that hair. Keep thinking they must have given one of the rookie's a run

Can't drop Johnson - good match-up for Fletcher. Neither is particularly quick, but Fletcher gets plenty of ball. Very important player to the Eagles setup.

Apart from the Kouta, only Johnson gives us much go from around the clearances; McGrath will play stints there.

Matera won't play, that lessens the need to play Karl. He needs a full run with the 2's.

I don't want to pick the exclusions - too hard to choose.

I thought Carazzo would be a chance of getting dropped. He found it hard to stop Cooney
