I may be a dyed-in-the-wool Hawthorn barracker, but I won't have any problem cheering on the Blues on Saturday night. Why? Not because I feel sorry for you Carlton fans for your two years of suffering - that's chicken feed compared to many other clubs. Not because I don't think you guys deserve a bit of time in the wilderness... you can sit with us Hawkers in the desert and make sand castles.

Not because I think you're going to win - sadly, I think the Eagles will thump you. And it's not because I don't think you lot aren't supremely arrogant at the moment, having beaten three sides destined for the bottom 8 this year (said in the nicest possible way, you guys are cute when you're big-headed!).

It's because even though you guys are insufferable, the Eagles fans are far, far, far worse.
