David Parkin when asked a long time ago about the most important player in his side came up with Earl Spalding. He said something along the lines of "When Earl plays we win 90% of the time, when he doesn't that drops to 50%. I'm a Digby Morrell fan. The guy's certainly not in Earl's league but he's honest and decent and if your daughter was going out with him you wouldn't be too concerned... Stats can be used to prove anything but it's interesting to have a look at our team's performance since Digby arrived at the club (when he plays versus when he doesn't). Diggers success rate is as follows: Games played: 28 Games won: 12 Games lost: 16 Win Rate: 42.86% Interesting also to turn it around and look at the figures when Digby doesn't play: Games played: 12 Games won: 1.5 Games lost: 10.5 Win Rate: 12.5% This isn't meant to be an argument to suggest we'll suddenly win a stack more games if Digby plays all the time, just an observation. |

we want draft picks thats why Diggers not in the side. I knew we were going to win when diggers was named. Diggers straightens us up, he leads hard and can take a contested mark he also can play down back. Im sure Diggers will be droped this week as we can not aford to lose that number 1 pick or the priority pick |

I like Digby too and don't understand why he isn't given the chances a few of his team mates get to cement their spot. Interesting stat GWS. |

Know for a fact he was given a warning before the game yesterday that he had to perform - I hope he did enough because I rate him as a handy back up tall. |
