i think Melbelle39 was just commenting on caro lumping us into the richmond basket (case!!) category. didn't get the impression mel was slamming whole the article.

the last 3 seasons have been tough, but we're hardly in the "long suffering perennial under-achiever" category, which is what melbelle highlighted.

I'm not keen on this tag that we're nothing but woe - generally the article was ok but that particular line got on my nerves - sure we've had a bad few years...nothing like what some other clubs have gone through time wise...

6 years since we played in a GF
10 since we won a flag
5 years since finals....

not fantastic but nowhere near as bad as others in the league.
especially when her team which she has goen relatively easy on is in a much worse position.
my argument was that carlton fans have sung more recently than many others, including caro herself...
