were do you really think Carlton will finish and why?

i think we will be 7 - 10 because we still have a young team jelling together nicely.

if we come lower than 10th but still win 10 games i will still be proud of us. as long as we win 10 or more games i will be happy

good luck blues 4 da 2005 season.

I reckon we should win more than 10 games. Though I think we were a little fortunate to win 10 games last year, we are a much stronger looking team this year. Fev looks even better than last year, Whitnal's all fired up and is gonna hit the ground running for Rnd 1, and and ahhh.....we have made the Wiz cup final so that counts for something.
Conservative we should win at least 11-12 and scrape into the 8.
Rose Coloured : We win the wiz cup by 10 goals. Then we go 18-4 finishing on top of the ladder, then a barnstorming finals campaign where a huge GF win over St Kilda follows Coleman medal to Fev, kouta captain of the All-Australian team, Teague for most courageous (again), Livo full back of the year, Sentanta & Aisake joint Young PLayer of the Year, Walker Mark of the Year, Betts Goal of the Year, & Barney French Brownlow. :D

At worst 12th.

If we can keep Fevs, Whits, Barney and T-Bird on the park this year we could finish as high as fourth IMHO. We saw what kind of season the Aints and Cats had after a big Wizard cup campaign. I really believe that we will make the 8.

The new game plan is not reliant on any one player and the unyielding attack on the ball carrier, coupled with extraordinary foot speed = getting to every contest. IMO this will ensure that we don't end up hemorrhaging like we did at times last year. This will help our %.

I believe our depth is far superior to last year and can sustain short term injuries to all but the above and still be competitive.

In summary I think will finish 6th after the home and away.

We will make the 8. You watch.
Injuries will depend on how far up the eight we finish, if we keep our major players on the park and Whits/Livo keep doing what there doing, we can easily finish top4.

Around 8 - 10 would be good progress in my book.

with injuries controlling how high up we go.

Still Think Power, Saints, Geelong and West Coast have better teams that us. But on our day we could beat them as well.

injuries will determine our year, no injuries and we will have a good year :D

Brisbane, PortAdelaide & StKilda have the better lists. IMHO, Geelong & WestCoast don't have better lists than us. Both have deficiencies forward and lack of depth in key positions. Fremantle is the smoky, mark my words on that, they will be pushing top4 also.
Brisbane is the only team that compete's with us in the coaching department though, and therefore "if" things go well, I can easily see us sneeking in top4 finish.

6th, might be a little optimistic, but after the Wiz Cup i think we can win 14-15 games to put us in with a shot....

Definitely won't be relegated but I'm hoping for a spot in the UEFA cup.

wHere?

Cheers

Grammar Nazi

PS - I reckon we'll finish 6th - 10th... but really I think nothing but injuries, confidence and luck will separate 6th and 16th...

Disagree with all 3 at this point of the season. Until I see how teams are this year I'm only fearing West Coast at the moment (in main season)
