Collo was on 3AW tonight and said Carlton would announce a new major sponser this week. I thought Toshiba and Optus were our major sponsers. Also said that Stevens should play due to contractual obligations.

I got an optus phone recently, ONLY because of the sponsorship. I wish they'd asked "why did you choose Optus" when I signed up. Good rates? Good coverage? No Carlton

optus pre paid is preety good. free calls optus 2 optus and i get good reception.

Another Sponsor Big or small, who cares, aside from the Accountants The point is, Carlton is again being seen as a viable brand name. Big business can see value for money in hitching up to the Blues bandwagon. The club is like a small snow ball rolling down a steep hill. The more she rolls the bigger it gets. Each day the momentum builds and the Club kicks onward and upwards. To all those who faught the move from OO, what say you now. I don't want to mull over old ground but.......FAIRDINKUM.....their short sightedness to the bigger picture of running a 15 million dollar enterprise was simply stunning at the time. To Collo and the Board I say well done. To the Players and the Coaching Staff who have refloated the Titanic, I say well done. Regards Cazzesman

It's a bloody good feeling to be apart of Carlton at the moment. Whether your a player, member/supporter, coach etc it's a bloody good feeling. The team is up and about. The sponsors are knocking each other over to get into bed with us. The supporters seem to have embraced TD. The players are playing for each other and actually want to be at the club. Good times at the moment, but just think of what's up ahead.

major sponsor?? as in gurnsey sponsor?? if we get 2 more major sponsors we can have optus/toshiba on home gurnsey and ?/? on the away gurnsey.....possibly subaru...

Nice to see we're trottin out the same cheesey joke's...I'll pass and ask a question... Is anyone else sick of hearing Collo cry poor? Hopefully a major sponsor will see him tone it down a bit. I refuse to believe we're really that bad off. I know he needs to do it to encourage members to join...but I can only respond to taunts about being broke to my Hawks supporting mate with taunts about 'who's your captain again' for so long.

I wish Camelboy stipulted in his welcome guidelines - NO f*cking cheese jokes! They are SOOO bad - especially after being recited for about the 5th time! Perhaps I'm getting bitter & twisted in my middle years, but enough already!
