Harry and Hewett were good. I prefer Acres to O Hollands. Walsh was clearly struggling with his shoulder. |

Can someone explain to me why we give away so many frees at the ruck contest. So many tonight. We can’t keep on letting that happen. As it gives the oppo such a leg up. Yep underwhelming win. But we take it I guess. Essendon* were very good. Difference is that we came out after half time and really improved. As opposed to when Voss was coaching which is a positive. |

Don’t take wins for granted, especially against those cauliflower, but that was garbage. First half was not even VFL standard. Very disappointed in the lack of intensity and pressure. Mentally and physically soft. |

The worst thing this club can do is sneak into a wildcard. Fundamentally there are still serious issues with our culture and attitude. I hope GW and CD don't get sucked in by this streak. That was disgraceful in the first half, and the last 3 minutes too. |

So What do you want us to do Traveller86 ? Tell the players to go out and lose. Cmon now. We are perennial losers. We just need to plan for all scenarios. |

I'm normally one of the more positive posters in this misery loving company clubhouse, but let me indulge in some entitled moaning... We won 8 centre clearances tonight, and 5 of them were by our rucks. For our supposed one wood to be so ineffective against a dead duck of a club that didn't even really want to win (those last 30s of the first half, Reid taking his sweet time to put * within a goal, Ben McKay's chirpy post match interview) is nothing short of embarrassing. Someone said they prefer Acres over Hollands, I do too but I want Hollands back so that Cerra can get back into the midfield rotation because tonight wasn't the first time Walsh has started well but taken a few knocks and been useless the rest of the way. |

I didn't watch rhe majority of rhe game, so I cant really comment on this, but lots of druggie supporters blaming the umpires and some dodgy timekeeping..... any truth to this? |

I had an uneasy feeling about this game. It was obvious early that we were not switched on. 16 tackles to half time says a lot. Coming back is made difficult as we came down to their level. I will take the 4 points but our players need to watch over and over that last transition from the scum. It was horrible on our part. |

They let Harry take 30s pretending to line up for goal from 60m, after marking with 80s left and Carlton 11 points up. I would have lost my shit if that happened against us. Hewett also got a goal after taking the knee. Aside from that, Essendon* got a lot of soft frees, but key moments fell our way. |

I'll take this underwhelming win over an overwhelming loss any day of the week! Go Blues!! What's this about the timekeeping? |

As opposed to when Voss was coaching which is a positive. first free of most games is Pitto going over the line. then he pulls a face as if to say “what was that for?”. Big Kruz isn’t earning his wage until this stops. admittedly it’s a weird rule open to a lot of subjective interpretation far as i can tell. our game like most teams really does hinge on how our middle six are travelling. |

Harry did a good job of milking nearly 40 sec to lineup for a goal from 55m close to the boundary, 90 sec to go.. But their coach dismissed it in their presser, just said Harry did well to milk it. |

Nah mate, just want to know if there was any dodgy timekeeping.... saw the bit where McKay took his time, didn't know he was that smart.... but geez the forwards were stagnant |
