This is suddenly a real big one. The old 8 point game. Win and we are equal with them in 10th with West Coast and Richmond to come. Lose and we are 8pts behind them. |

O Hollands, Reidy, and L Camporeale should all also be in’s for the VFL team alongside Derksen in Sydney. I wonder if we’ll see HoF? |

If the remainder of the season is about developing players Ison Young and Byrne all play If it is about making top 10 Williams Cottrell and Holland come in Sent from my SM-F956B using Tapatalk |

Cotters was pretty invisible against Coburg. Williams might have not been playing, didn't see him but he hasn't been banging the door down when I've watched the mini-match replays. Ollie Hollands does try hard and run all day — some times that's the difference and it lifts the pressure rating and others get inspired to tackle and pressure too. His disposal and footy IQ is average I reckon. I think he's a chance to play GWS in ones. Not sure who comes out, probably Young I guess. Injuries may determine things. |

Hollands had a great game against the dogs pre injury. In that sort of form he'd be a good in Sent from my moto g54 5G using Tapatalk |

Sent from my SM-F956B using Tapatalk There will come a time in the back end of the season they will "run out of gas" as it were - with or without this weeks bye - which is really only 9 days. |

This game may decide what direction the club takes for the remainder of the season. Win and we're in the mix for the wildcard. Lose and we're 2 games + percentage behind 10th. Really looking forward to seeing how much the players want this. |

Williams didn't play vs Coburg. Cottrell was invisible. Williams class was noticeable against the Bumbers, and Cottrell put the foot on the accelerator in the 2nd half. Impressive. Ollie is harshly judged the last couple years. A kid trying his hardest and running harder than any other player got caught a couple times, and disposing the ball ineffectively from holding the ball a bit too long. He is now 22yo, and his last 2 games have been flawless. Last game especially, he was outstanding. Should be backed. Shouldn't write off developing kids. He's miles ahead of Young and Byrne, albeit still developing. He's shown a lot of good traits, and should be acknowledged for the good he brings. Ollie should be considered if fit. Acres should keep his spot. Cerra looks good on a wing but can play HB, Mid, HF and Wing. Wietering in for Derksen. Ollie for Young. Like Sydney Blue said, if we are not aiming for Wildcard then keep playing Byrne till he fatigues, but, if we want to give ourselves the best opportunity to win, play Williams. I'd like to keep Byrne and Ison, but .... I'll leave it to MC to decide what they are after. |

Ollie, Reidy Lucas campo all back for the GWS double header. Harry O'Farrell must be close to resuming in the VFL. The other 4 missing are out for season: Carroll, E.Hollands, Motlop, Monohan Had 5 out vs Pies, Aints & Bris....plus TDK Silvagni Charlie |

Ollie is too good for the VFL, but he would benefit from a block of games in the guts. Back in for the Hawks-Filth games that will decide the season. It’d be good to see Cottrell really crack in over the break & get back into the side as an attacking wing/half forward. He should be flourishing in the current environment… Just can’t shake the feeling that he’s got the sulks. Weitering in for Haynes. Good opportunity for Derksen to show what he’s made of. |

Is Haynes injured? He was one of our better players against Essendon* (ignoring a couple of lapses) I thought. reads the play and positions himself so well. |
