Surely.... you've watch this side for how many years? of course it's possible. but thankfully we've got kids with no CFC Win-Loss scar tissue in the memories… hopefully they feed on the confidence rather than let it rattle them or go to their heads. they seem a mature bunch. Is that Dean kid is a chip off the old block or what? |

Not taking anything for granted whatsoever. But if we don’t win by 100 points, sakc Fraser. |

No injuries from last night. Great No change for me. Williams Saad and Lord will have to wait and bang the door harder. Like Acres, Saady will only come in for injury. Geez Acres was good last night. |

This is the ideal opportunity to blood Ben Camporeale. He deserves a chance, and just might be better at the top level. |

If you want to give games to players to have a look, this week would be the best time for Ben. I praised him the week before on a slow muddy ground, he was good. Did you watch him play on Saturday? He has a long way to go with his skills and his running. I'd let him develop a bit more, because if he plays I fear it could damage his future. I don't think he can keep up with the speed required. He will be exposed. He needs time. I hope he gets a one year extension for another preseason under his belt. |

Ben can only come in with the right out for balance. That would be Cripps or Hewett. |

Ben hasn’t earnt a promotion yet, we need to see more consistent footy from him in the VFL. Lord was much better than him last week. |

I reckon this is a really good test for Fraser. The Bummers are busted arse and we're expected to win. We've had 3 on the trot that we weren't expected to win. Last week would have been a huge game emotionally. The bye is the week after. This is an absolute danger game for us. sinbagger wrote: Traveller86 wrote: No no no no! Thought about my response to this last night and shouldn't have written him off like I did. I like Flynn Young, but don't see him as a long term prospect. Ben's played good games in the VFL, like Flynn was. Flynn got rewarded for form shown a month earlier, so can't see why the same can't apply to Ben But like Surrey said if its like for like it will be for Hewett or Crippa's spot. I think Lord is ahead of Ben too. Lord showed more than Ben vs Geelong in the VFL. I have no doubt we will get a look at Ben, and recall Moir, Lord and possibly Riley and O'Keefe in the next 3 months. Good idea to give kids blocks of games. CD has big decisions on uncontracted players. We should do our best to try and make the Top 10, or even 5th (like we did in 2023) if we are good enough. We are not tanking nor seem concerned about saving points for Walker; he's ours, and adds another No 3 pick like Jagga and Dean. Choice. |

Watched the replay of the game and the one person that stood out was Acres. My goodness he kills momentum with his disposals. Really is a butcher. How he nailed the goal against Melbourne has me still wondering…… Anyway, if Ollie is ready, must come straight back in for Acres. Evans is the other with a question mark and with Byrne and Young, I would bring in some more class through the middle with the ball - in Williams. M2C. |

Shame about Acres as he is everything you want in a player. Apart from his kicking. Did have some good moments. Kick to Hayward in the last was pin point. He runs, chase, spoiles all day. Why cant someone fix his kicking ? |

He seems to find a lot of ground and gets it a fair bit but I do wonder how much of that is then opposition just allowing him freedom. Real shame because he can read the play. |
