I have 2 questions for those who want Voss out ?
1. Who would you replace him with ?

2. And more importantly, who in their right mind would take the job on ?

1. Not an ex coach. History suggests you need to find the next great coach.
2. The lure of being the one who goes down in history as resurrecting Carlton FC is massive. We won't have issues attracting coaches but need to show that we're investing in recruitment and development at the same time.

Can anyone really see Voss being re-contracted?

What would l know? Here’s my 2 bob:

Skipworth
Gregg
Gianseracusa
Enright
Danny Daly

BlueVain would have a better handle on these. What do you reckon?

If Hayden Skipworth has the makeup to be a senior coach then he would be potential candidate
Good tactically
Young enough but years in the system at AFL clubs
Would suprise if he wasn’t hungry for a senior spot
Bu at least one chief assistant must be an exceptional player manager
And don’t let Diesel anywhere near near the interview process

Grigg forfeited any right to walk back into our club when he left. He's qualified but I couldn't stomach him coaching us.
@#$%&! him.

We've had early doors. We've had green shoots. We've had the blues snooze. We're in the 'own it' era.

All I want to know is what meme can our next coach bring?

Gorringe for coach

I don’t understand….

what is Voss doing right to get us in front
by 43 points…or 20 points with 15 mins to go…
and what is he doing wrong in the end for
us to lose…?

how do teams kick 5…6…7 goals in the last
half of the last quarter all the time…?

I don’t get it…

because we’re able to play football for some of the
time…clearly……then not…

First there was a mountain…then there was no
mountain…and that’s where it stops…but
there should be another mountain again…

I’m lost for words…

but in all honesty…i don’t think it’s the coach…
don’t get me wrong…I’ve thought it was
the coach in the past…but I’m starting to think it’s not…

Obviously i wasn’t that lost for words…

kindest regards tommi

I’m the same.

The first 15 minutes of the second half our pressure rating was in the 200s and we were well on top. Back when we were on a winning streak in 2023 we were sustaining that sort of pressure for a much longer time.

Why does it disappear?

Our players regularly look satisfied with themselves despite having achieved @#$%&! all.

Someone pointed out the smirk on Cripps face at three quarter time.

Maybe start there.

If we take out the fade outs in each game then we win all games and are undefeated at the top of the ladder.

To my mind the coach is the one that moves the chess pieces around. Cripps, Hewitt, Walsh and Cerra are good midfielders, but they run out of gas in the second half. Pitto too gets tired.

We either need fitter midfielders or we need more rotations. Fitness comes in the pre-season. That is past now. So we need more rotations. Cripps and Hewitt were constantly at the centre throw up in the last quarter. They were done, they couldn't get near it or they gave the ball to the opposition. This setup needs to change.

I wouldn't sack Voss yet. Brisbane lost their first three in 2024 and then went on to win the flag. Voss needs to turn it around though. The jungle drums are beating.

I used to feel the same way about Gregg but if he’s the best candidate we appoint him.

Wright will not have an issue with past history

Greggs good for a few sausage rolls.

Sadly I can’t see our team wining another game soon, perhaps the last before the long break against Essendon*? pending personal availability for both teams.
GW & CD have a contingency plan.
As more miserable performances add up, and gnaw at the fabric of the club, the sooner the change will be made.
