Disappointed about the club's key forward stocks. Wonder how much cash will be available to throw around over the coming years.

Lots of people saying Curnow is cooked but two of the most successful clubs think otherwise.

A shame the club never drafted well enough to complement two Coleman medalists.

Will be interesting to see the dynamic at Gold Coast with JUH moving there. Will Walter rot in the reserves?

What about the Campo Boys?
What happened to Moir?
What about Motlop/Foggarty?

This is Typical Carlton. We keep brining in players from other clubs and play them in our starting 22, whilst our Young guns keep rotting in the 2's and never get a chance.

2026 should have been the year where all the kids from the last 2-3 years are in the Side!!

Not Hayward, nor Aisnsworth nor Evans are going to make us any better next year. Those players looked good in a Quality side but in a side like Carlton they will not deliver!

Keep in mind the Injuries which we are so Good at!

I just can't see any Positives nor bright future for this Club!!

And we have greater depth that will continue to develop - Lord as you’ve said, Moir, Carroll, campos x2, Wilson

Be interesting to see what we do with Elijah

Star wingman is he? Where are you playing him? He may find Cowan in the 18 ahead of him. I'd rather Florent delivering the ball inside 50 than Hollands.

Just read the full Curnow deal. That is @#$%&! horrendous to give so many picks back. Didn’t land any senior cover for Curnow or Silvagni. Pick 32 should have gone to the dogs for Khamis. What a shitful end to the trade period.

AUSTIN OUT

Charlie should only have been allowed to leave if someone like Humphrey or Walter were coming back the other way. Austin caved and just handed Sydney a dual Coleman medallist and premiership contention. Sweet. We’re a @#$%&! feeder club

Hi dont get the doom in here
2026 is going to be exciting Florent Chesser Hayward and Ainsworth all certainties in round 1 if fit
Dean maybe also
Set ourselves to get Dean and Ison and maybe another young gun

Walker closer to coming with the AFL changing the rules

2 2027 first rounders and 2 2026 first rounders

2 2027 first rounders maybe trade to Essendon* so they can get Bewick and give us snother 2026 pick

Picks we gave back to Swans chump change

Who wasnts a vice captain cycling to footy saying up yours and then cant get a kick on Toby Pink

Do we want a vice captain who doesnt seem to want to chase what does that signal to young players

Do we need a vice captain who is entertaining a trade to Geelong in May
Do we want a leader of our club hanging around with Bailey Somith

Great footballers but a complete DH Im over him and I want a multi dimensional forward adding a different dynamic

Cmon we also got Florent for a steal and didnt get legged over on him being included as part of the trade

Agree Frank, plus I'm not sure how long Curnow's body will hold up, his knees are wobbly.

And just watching the fox footy show again they showed that in terms of injuries we were second to Essendon* in losing senior players for AFL games

An if I know but if we for once get a good run with injuries I reckon we will be more than ok

Cmon guys we had a good trade period generally
Saw Gerard Healy soaking up about trade proposed by Swans last night he will be apoplectic after seeing what we got finally as trade for Curnow
Even more so when we stared them down for Florent
Florent was be tarted around by Sydney to others for furture 2nd we got him for future 3 rd

Played it tough with Motlop and McGovern and Elijah the adults are now in charge GO BLUES

Don't forget HOK . Nothing surer than him playing predominantly as a forward next year . I will admit I wasn't a fan coz he showed little in the Magoo's but he improved out of sight towards the end o the season . He actually was grabbing a few . If he maintains his improvement it will go a long way in covering the loss of Charlie .

If I’m being honest, I think our list is probably furthest from a flag in the league, maybe just ahead of Essendon*, but maybe not.

I don’t see us winning one in the time that this senior group is around and once Cripps, Weitering, McKay go, we’re starting again. I think our young crop of players are the least exciting in the league.

Depressing I know, but just calling it as I see it

I think we will be significantly better next season than we were this year.

We’ve lost more talent than we’ve brought in. Reckon we’ll struggle next year, but then we struggled this year.

Maybe we pinch Ah Chee if he lands in the PSD

A different dynamic is what we desperately need

Exciting times
