McGovern back, Cerra back, Moir deep and of course our game plan to kick to Charlie……..yep, why bother.

3 of the last 4 weeks we have held the opposition goalless or nearly goalless the last qtr. Last week the Pies got one, in the last minute of the game.

We are the 4th qtr specialists...lol.

Let's just wrap our arms around the boys. Cuddles all round. This is what AFL has become. :vomit:

They tried
They are not that smart
They lack skills
You can't miss 9 set shots
You can't expect to beat teams like Brisbane missing 8 of your best 23 and one player who has checked out
You can't allow teams to have 130 marks

When will the injury curse end

The players are now saving themselves for the last instead of the first? These players……

Think Charlie is on a double figure streak now of point kicking.

What's the record? He's getting plenty of cracks at goal but.......

The one positive was Brisbane are seriously good. I'd feel reasonably confident if it's them against Coll in the GF

I've been critical of our leaders but Cripps and Charlie had a real dip tonight. Weiters needs to be re-educated that defenders need to actually play on someone. His unwillingness to man up, especially when his opponent gets outside 50 does my head in. Just stop ONE player mate. That's all we want. Just one. He has become the expert at guarding nothing.

The bullshit about TDK having checked out is garbage. He gave more than a few others tonight.

A lot of our inexperienced players were found out. Non contributors and then you get posters squealing that we're not playing more. :banghead:

I’m wondering if Weitering is playing to instructions? It’s become a farce, so surely Voss isn’t letting him play that way? I just can’t see how he would be ignoring instructions.

0.9 since his sterling effort of 1.0 from 3 kicks against West Coast. Not sure how many out of bounds, smothered, failed to make distance etc.

Don’t mind them getting found out if they learn from it. Until they run out of steam I’d keep playing them.

A bit hard to quantify effort but TDK did nothing until the game was dead, and stopping to check on HOF while the Lions ran past him for an easy goal was not the mark of a man who's focused or committed.

Agreed on the kids, although HOF improved after Weiters replaced him on Hipwood duty. Why HOF had that role to begin with was anyone's guess. Carroll looked dangerously like a player who relaxed once he got his contract, hopefully a one-off but I've seen this film before. I thought Moir was OK and his 0.3 was uncharacteristic, again gotta hope it doesn't repeat. Lord did nothing, Ollie ordinary, Moo with a disastrous turnover setting the tone, Motlop and Durdin providing no goal threat... slim pickings indeed.

TDK was a waste of space in 1st half
Better in 2nd half
2 goals 8 from our forwards hurts
Very inexperienced defence with Cowan HOF and Carroll

4 of those 8 sitting in the stands would have been handy

Cincotta is not the player he was
Orazio done for the year.

We are playing kids who should be developing in the reserves

Yeah Cinc brought a spark his first 2 games back but lack of match fitness has shown since, been pretty terrible last couple of games

He kept Brizzys best quiet. McLuggage

He’s a good footballer. Maybe he will be unleashed one day.
Chinka did his job imo, also got to good spots but we couldn’t hit him up.

6 players in their 1st and 2nd season of football
Tough assignments against reigning premier

Fantasia only played 67% of the first half and was everywhere.
Another class player to breakdown.
We need to replace the class

Absolutely
All those players should be developing in the VFL with Campo boys, Wilson, Charleson, Lemmey and OKeefe, and they need experience around them in the VFL. Players like Gov, Fantasia, Acres, Boyd, Pitto, Young.
