Lemmey, has to be a consideration.

Nothing surer than a loss this week. We are so shit and now injuries are getting us again

Barely won against the bombers vfl, played 25 minutes against eagles.

A loss will end the season and put us all out of our misery

Nah, if we lose all the other teams around us will too and it will extend our misery.

Young in for HOK.
Lemmey in for Charlie.

Pitto should only be picked to replace TDK if he was injured, which he’s not, AFAIK.

Yep

Pitto dominated 2 skinny Bullants rucks.
Not sure if he could keep up with Xerri

Zita on Fox said we'll make a call this week on surgery or he plays with a bit of pain.

The Charlie situation might change or influence the decision?

Don’t want to ruin your weekend but the chances of that happening are pretty close to the chances of you winning Tattslotto on Saturday.

Without buying a ticket…

That's a credible statement for gamblers. Still a gamble tho, but get what you mean given their current form and fight.

If Charlie misses as expected, Pitto has the miles in his legs now. Bring him in to do 70% of the ruck work with TDK and Lemmey as the tall forwards.
TDK has the ground level skills. Forecast is 17 and sunny so hopefully it will be a good day for marking talls. Hopefully Comben misses again and with Corr out, we should stretch their defence.

Voss needs to unhitch himself from the leaders and start running this team himself without favour. Cripps has attended more centre bounces than any Carlton player the past 2 games for a total of 4 centre clearances. To go with 2 post clearance ground ball gets yesterday and 2 stoppage clearances.
Adam Cerra is a more effective centre square mid IMO yet only attended 60% of centre bounces and Cooper Lord 30%. WTF is that? Not only is Crippa dropping off but his opponent is burning us. Setterfield was the 3rd highest rated player on the ground last week. It's great to show loyalty to your players but there's plenty of loyal coaches out of work.

If Voss doesn't take total control of this team, the players will drag him down the toilet like they have with numerous other senior coaches.
I'd put it on the leaders to seriously challenge the players and to stop putting themselves above the team. Otherwise I'd make a change at seasons end. We've got too many huggers. Time for some leadership that challenges all and sets expectations.
Do what's best for the team. If you're being beaten, don't just expect others to do your hard work. Leaders are people who bring the best out of others. Not players who want to do it all themselves.

From memory Champion Data said recently our most effective centre bounce set up is Hewett, Cerra and Walsh. With Walsh out, Lord has the run, give him a bloody opportunity. 30% CBA is rubbish.
Loved the game of Cincotta. Hassled the shit out of Baker, kicked a goal and had 4 goal assists. The most on the ground. Give him a run in the middle. A negating role at the least.

Out Charlie, HOK.
In Lemmey, Pitto.

No way Charlie Skull or Harry play and Cowan is doubtful

Players to be considered

Young or Pittonet

Lemmey for Charlie at FF....for sure

Boyd, Wilson showed some form in the VFL

If we are rotating small forwards it has to be Motlop's turn, for White.

No one else I would consider, not even Ben Camporeale who tickled the stats sheet, buthe needs to concentrate on fixing his kicking. We don't need any more bad kicks in the team

It's incredible that Motlop had the same percentage as Lord.

Motlop 0 contested possessions, 0 clearances.

I'm so glad to see this. This is my preference.

I'm a fan of 2 rucks. Despite the fact Pittonet has no forward craft, and he's lost a bit of the run he had back in 2023, there's a time and place for the 2 rucks. With no Curnow, Harry and O'Keefe, and Young/TDK combo not a good match up for Xerri, the 2 rucks may well be this weekend.

Pitto is the best match up for Xerri. Young will get pushed aside easily by Xerri.

Despite beating North by 12 goals in round 6, Xerri was the 2nd highest rated player in that game, and beat TDK by taking away his run; something Xerri would have picked up after watching Nankervis do that successfully in round 1, as did Cameron, English, and Meek before him.

Crusader has been harping on about Cripps not sharing the CB role, and failing.
Stefchook has highlighted for the last month Cripps loss of form and with that, impact.

Cripps got smashed in the 2nd and 3rd by WCE novices in the stoppages.

When Pittonet needs the chop out in the ruck, Cripps should be playing as KPF target with Gov whist TDK goes in the ruck. Simple.
