58 inside 50s to 47

8 marks inside 50 to 14.

Too many butchers.

Horrible game from Weitering.

Very poor game from Harry. 0.1 with some terrible handballs thrown in.

Giants scored so easily from Carlton's forward 50....it was like being taken back to the Ratten and Teague era.

Too lacking in pace and skill.

Woeful performance. Worse than Adelaide for mine. Got beaten by what we know. Rope a dope stupidity

You'd think you're a chance when the opposition are missing a big chunk of their midfield, and that's our "one wood"

Let down badly by our senior players...

The coaches box... getting smashed on the turnover... move Gov up forward and Motlop in the middle... genius

Pros:

Looked pretty sharp early.
Docherty, Cerra and Walsh were pretty good.
Lord and Oli as well. Plenty of encouragement from Carroll and O'Farrell.
Best effort I've seen from Acres this year.
White and Fogarty created a bit.

Cons:

Slaughtered by ball movement out in space.
Horrible defensive mistakes that led to goals.
Comparative inaccuracy again. Although the opposition got the ball in better spots in forward 50 and in much more space.
Senior players let us down badly. Weiters, TDK and Harry had shockers. After a strong but selfish first half, Curnow was invisible. Hewett struggled.
Durdin couldn't get near it. And Motlop awful as usual.

At least the coaches tried a few things.
Riccardi must love playing against us.
Cripps had a really poor 2nd half.
Any chance we might have had of making a run at finals has now passed.

Simply outclassed by a better side - which hurts considering the Giants were missing Callaghan, Kelly and Daniels.
Worst game I can remember from Weitering.
Why do the MC select Motlop?
On a positive note I thought O'Farrell showed plenty of promise on debut and Lord and Carroll both showed they belong at AFL level.

Diabolical performance.

The goals we conceded ALL day was bush league levels.

Mares from senior players. Weiters has never played worse. TDK putrid. Charlie and Harry not far behind. They simply just don’t @#$%&! compete enough. It’s BS.

Season on the line and that’s what we dish up?

We are miles and miles from where we should be. So bloody depressing.

Same cycle of shit over and over and over again.

It’s been so obvious for so long

Not good enough on transition

Both offensively and defensively

Not sure why we didn’t go through a mini rebuild in 2022

Too late now

Our so called stars seem to be declining, which puts us in a very tough position

Club have failed again

We have a nice few weeks to hopefully get 7-7 but not going to be seeing a run like 2023 to get us out of the shit.

I'm hoping, like 2006 with Geelong, 2016 with Richmond, it's the very bad year they had between finals appearances and a dynasty. That's about all I have left. That last 10 min was just throwing in the towel. We got within 9 pts then immediately gave them 2 goals in 2 minutes. Until this mob want it badly enough consistently they'll be a disappointment. Have the ability but not the will. Could well be a wasted era. Just another St.Kilda these days.

Ollie was good and Lord is legit. i prefer him in the middle than cripps and his one way running and downhill skiing.

We are exactly where I said we would be in November last year the only difference I had us beating Richmond and losing to Geelong.

We are not losing these games because of players commitment or Vossy coaching we are losing them because of what Austin did last October and November.

He has cost Vossy his job he won't recover from this and he sits in the background with blood on his hands.

I hope the Carlton hierarchy see this.

You have a player like Kennedy who wore his heart on his sleeve, playing any role he was given week in week out. They let him go for a packet of chips because Austin threw all his eggs in one basket. What message does this send to the playing group.

Rebuilding starts again it's been 30 years of rebuilding why not another 5.

Austin needs to be removed before the next trade and draft period otherwise it will be 40 years before you know it.

I'm actually not even mad, just mildly annoyed.

Some absolutely stinking individual performances out there.

Forward entries never, ever changed the whole game.

Continue to lose games with 8 or more out injured.
TDK Harry Charlie Weitering gave us little, and a lack of spine can only lead to doom.

I think every GWS forward kicked multiple goals.
Please come back SOS.
Weiters has too many helpers around him now, me thinks.
He's disorganised imo. I don't blame anyone else.
We all know what HIS space is, and its all on him.

Forward entry is still hit and miss ... small options are ignored.
If Charlie or Harry dont mark it, its...its run out, with smalls out of position to defend.

Imagine if every Ollie lead in forward line space was honoured, just in the first half.
He missed an easy set shot, but he's not going to miss them all.

We lack link up players who can run and carry. Walsh? Cerra? Need more runners than ball winners.
We lack poise going anywhere near the forward line.
Lowering the eyes must become a mantra

those entries haven't changed from year one of Voss.

two coleman medal winners and that's how we still persist in playing. it's time to blow it all up, i think.
