Hammered in the midfield.

Easily TDK's lowest hitout count this season....O'Brien was clearly on top.

But when the one wood isn't working....what else do they have?

No ruckman has reached 100 points in either #SuperCoach or #AFLFantasy against Adelaide this season.

TDK is the latest to fall short.

smacked from the opening centre bounce.

weitering and ollie worked hard all night. a few others tried, but were poor.

acres, mckay, doc, durdin, motlop were truly terrible.

contest game didn't fire a shot, and this is what we're left with. passengers, incompetence and half efforts all over the park.

Insipid and embarrassing.

Never in it. Felt like a 100 point loss.

Mentally and physically soft.

Way too many players who are massive liabilities atm. Acres Mots Doc at the top of the list with about 8 others close behind.

Midfield got absolutely obliterated and we basically had nothing. An indictment on all and sundry.

More fool us the ones that thought we’d be a sneaky chance today.

Well I took a peek at my supercoach scores... I have Dawson and Rankine, so thanks for that, Carlton. You flower.

A total midfield capitulation tonight... not sure if we tried to do something new that failed, or the fact that we need TDK to dominate in order to paper over the cracks.

Fraudulant. Got Geelong at the right time. Beat up the shit trucks. This is the true indicator. Back to exactly where we were a month ago. We are a bottom 6 team and if we don't understand that we need to start again very quickly, we're going to prolong the pain for another decade

There is no way any of these 3 should be playing against St Kilda next week.

Pros:

Not much.
Crippa, Saad, Haynes, Weiters, Hewett.
I thought Oli was one of the few to fight it out.
Durdin took his opportunities.

Cons:

Wish we had a coaching panel who can learn from the past. We seem to get steamrolled by Adelaide in the same way and by the same players every time.
Didn't run hard enough or compete hard enough.
Smashed out of the middle. Although I'd love to know how many centre clearances came from Adelaide frees.
Lack of teammate support for Saad when Tex was gobbing off.
I know we're not very quick, but I hate it when we zone and allow the opposition to chip it from one end of the ground to the other.
Can we please develop a plan for kick outs. It can't be all that hard for full-time coaches and professional players?
Inaccuracy yet again.
Docherty, Acres, McGovern and Motlop were awful.
So many other players invisible: White, Lord, Harry, Fogarty and Carroll.
Charlie wanted to play as a small forward today.

We just didn't turn up to play- We need to put this behind us and move on!

The Crows are Home Heros but last week, they were a no show!

Docs proved again he is way past it. He needs to retire! Time to play some kids!

Similar theme when we don't dominate the contest. Outside of the contest we are terrible.

Mother taught me that if you can not think of anything positive to say......

But...

Got smashed... Didn't want to contest, didn't want to pressure, were asleep when the ball hit the ground.
They would spoil to the front of the pack every time ( when we weren't kicking cleanly to them), two Crows front and centre each time and we never modified...

Go Blues

IMO both Mots and Doc shouldn't have played tonite. Acres continues to be more miss than hit. You are right though, all three should definitely not play next week.

The question is who come in to replace them?

Hopefully JSOS is OK. We also missed Cotts run and impact.

Arguably our two worst losses over the last 12 months (Richmond aside) = Adelaide
Our two best wins = Geelong
Geelong clearly a better side than Adelaide
Some teams match up well against each other.
Worth understanding why
Today
Centre clearances 16 to 6
Marks inside fifty, 20 to 6

They beat us in contested ball and ran us off our legs
Same as last year
You’d hope you’d be ready for that

Euphoria from last week gone

Haven't watched the game, after reading the comments I have no intention to.

They've had our number every year since 2022, when they unexpectedly derailed our push for finals.

It's frustrating that we still haven’t figured out how to beat them!

Will probably need to wait for Tex to retire…

They pumped us in 2020 when we were pushing for finals and they were 0-14 ffs.

It’s a conditional football team

Frankly, we are not good enough

Let’s be honest, we got Geelong at the right time. Even Scott said they haven’t played that bad for such a long time.

We will lose to St Kilda next week.

Surely the pressure on Voss will begin to increase again

I am quite tired of following a team that is not consistent and has major changes in form over a season

Says to me this club has something wrong at it’s core
