Maybe we should just go full heel and wreck a couple of these cauliflower seasons. Jaw here, ACL there etc.

Hopefully Curnow and Fantasia are fit enough to return.
I would also like to see Carroll, Binns, Moir and maybe White come in the side if they perform in the VFL.
So many deserve to be dropped however I'd have Haynes and Motlop on the top of the list.
Lucas Camporeale looks a good prospect however isn't quite ready yet.

Motlop, Haynes and McGovern cannot play next week.

Doc only gets a pass because of his past heroics, but the brave thing to do would be to make him come back through the VFL, which is what I hope we do.

Boyd if fit - we need more pace in the backline, we are too slow in then backline.
Moir - mid size forward which we need
I still think Silvagni is better forward - his lack of pace will be exposed in the backline, his footy smarts are his best asset and that's best used around the goals.
Curnow if 100% fit
Fantasia for Evans if fit and in fact I would play White before Evans (not to be seen again in the seniors)

Its been the template for a while but if you out hustle, muscle, you are almost a good thing against the blues...

They will slice through our ‘defence’ with so much ease it will be easier than training for them.

Out: McGovern Haynes Evans Walsh Docherty Kemp
In: Young Carroll Fantasia Curnow Boyd Moir

Walsh was painfully underdone, probably thought we could get him back to fitness against Richmond, got done for our arrogance.

Kemp I assume is injured.

Doc is a courageous fellow, a real inspiration, but he is cooked I'm afraid. It was sad watching him come on and try to lift the team only to kick a deflating poster and then ship a goal with dreadful skill errors.

SOS is a quandary... looked good when he pushed forward but not sure about him as a 3rd tall with H+CC. Also not sure about his as a third tall with JW+LY. Gov makes sense on paper but needs to be sent a message for that pitiful effort. Haynes might deserve another crack but him + LY makes defensive exits a real problem unless NH finds his old self quickly.

More I think about it, maybe it's best we keep Curnow on ice and pair SOS with H and maybe show the latter what commitment and contest look like. But who else do we bring in? Maybe Binns, but I want to see Cottrell back on the wing using his speed and tank.

Motlop survives only because I liked his early run through the middle and it's still a little early to give up on him, but I'd say he's less than a 50:50 prospect.

Faaaark... I look down the list and there's not a lot to offer. Hawthorn will annihilate us, I'd say let's be snide and try to win by corkies and broken bones, but we have to catch them first. No chance.

Let's see, we've got Hawthorn who will probably smash us like in the old days.

WBD who beat us 8/10 times even when they're @#$%&! average.

Collingwood, who we always roll over and play dead for.

Then I think it's the Good Friday game so Norf will be up and about for that.

Out: promising young talent
In: shit small forward

If curnow is fit, don't play him, get him ready for the dogs

We have zero chance of winning this

No "chance for the boys to redeem themselves". Draw a line in the sand - there were half a dozen senior footballers that should be sat for at least three weeks. No "hamstring awareness" either. Omitted on the team sheet. Maybe they will grow some pride.

When do we play?

Might schedule family board game night instead.
