My life would probably have looked a lot different if l’d spent every minute I’ve devoted to this place doing something actually productive…

Did we ever find out what happened to the money?

20 years? Time goes fast. I guess that isn't including the 'old BV site' years either. Add big footy years even before that, and I need to get a life!!

A site wholly dedicated to old BV sounds damn good actually

It is also almost exactly 20 years since this proud moment:

I distinctly remember thinking that this was the turning point and that our dark days were over...

I remember how much I was going full nuff cauliflower that night out with a big group in Kingston. "we are coming for you all. 10 years is all you can keep us down for. Big clubs like ours don't stay down forever". Good times.

Yep - we were flying high after winning 10 games in 2004 and I thought this was it!

How we didn’t win the flag in 2005 with Steve Kenna, Brett Johnson, David Clarke, Glenn Bowyer, Adrian De Luca and Digby Morrell is still a mystery to me.

I ask myself that question a lot. Makes my bones vibrate with anger.

Yeah thanks for all those who keep the site going.

Thanks to London Blue for introducing me to TC

I came to the site to find out how I can help make Carlton great again, and every cent I donated was part of our resurgence and not a penny wasted imo. We were broke at the time, NM’s Demetriou and Effendopes Ronnie Biggs, no, no, Ronnie Evans (both crooked) had us by the short and curries and did their best to kill the clubs spirit.

I knew from the moment I joined, the passion for the club will see us rise to our rightful place…back to the top.

Thanks Mrs Caz the cat for making me feel so welcome.

Thanks to Molly and fk I can’t remember atm the Marketer..I will edit when I recall…Motts?

Mr Sanderson, you ripper…we ripped into each other, but grateful to you for the PMs  sharing inside info we were privy too. Similarly Mojo, on the inside.

Synbad for keeping the bastards honest and being a good prickle.

I follow a group of TCers now on BF because they are Carltonians through and through and still bring some quality to discussion. …hate the disparaging remarks some make about TC though. Poor form. Totally unfounded.

We are all in this together. United we stand. 17th isn’t far away. Flags aren’t easy to win. Some of us were spoilt rotten between 1968 and 2001.

Love youse all… have made a lot of friends from this forum. Met some great characters, and we will all get together when we win the flag, possibly at the end of 2025 ending our 30 year drought. Stick phat.
