Thursday night footy has been boosted massively, featuring in all but 2 weeks of the H&A season. Apparently we're in 3 of the first 16.

I think they’ll have us playing both GC and GWS away because they need bums in seats. The trade off might be a return fixture at home.

Even though we get the middle six draw, I don’t think we’ll be getting any of The bottom four twice.

Without knowing the exact parameters, my guess is we’ll double up against:

Apparently Rd 1 ,2 and 4 Thurs night v Richmond, Hawthorn and Collingwood.

Hopefully we play Richmond and West Coast twice and no more 5 day breaks - unless our opposition has a 5 day break as well.

Yes the 5 day breaks are terrible. We had one this season where we had a 5 & the opposition had an 8 or some crap I'm pretty sure.

The problem is it gets harder as the season goes on because you can't just keep rotating through the same 4 teams on Thurs/Fri nights.

I like watching Thursday night games, I just hate attending them.

I could get behind Sunday night footy - on the telly.

I think I read that five of the nine games we’re going to be in Perth, so it’s probably more of a Sunday twilight game.

[REDACTED] if I’d want to be backing up Perth on Sunday night into Thursday or Friday night though. You can bet your balls that we’ll be the ones copping that.

3 trips to SA and 2 to WA, Swans at the SCG yet again.

No five day breaks, thankfully.

But, round 8 against Adelaide is sandwiched between a pair of six day breaks. That’ll be this year’s conditioning challenge.
