lol, I went to sign up for a membership in 2025 after 15 years on the outer, but I was shocked to see things have changed a lot.

What happened to our Social Club? do we still have a Social club where we can gather and chat at one of the rooms at the G & Marvel before home Games? or has that changed?

We have what is called Captains Club. There are rooms at both the MCG and Marvel, that is if the club books the MCG one and we don't get shoved out or have to go to the Pullman for our home games.
They usually have past players there. You can also have a meal and/or a drink before games.

YES your right... it was the Captains Club... however they have changed it.

In 2025, you can only Sign up to the Captains Club if you opt for a Reserved Seat which means its over $600. In my Days, I used to be able to access the Social club by just having a designated area for Social club members on Lv1 and its first come basis.

I don't know what people are signing up for.... 89,000 members and going up. There is very little benefit for having a membership apart from just donating your money to the club.

Can someone plz tell me what benefit we get for signing up to any membership within $200-$400 Range?

I was planning to purchase the Members Home Zone package plus Away GA which is $460, however the club told me that I am not eligible to purchase any GF tickets should Carlton make it and if any Carlton Games are a sell out, then I must pay extra to upgrade to a reserved Seat and if this happens, Your reserved seat will be most likely on Level 3, right at the end.

This is horrific as far as I am concerned. Has AFL footy become an Exclusive Game for the elite & Rich only?

I know most Carlton members are middle Class hard working people and they would have most likely Signed up for a similar package within an affordable range! BUT what is the point?


The only Packages that will guarantee you a Grand final ticket are the ones that impose a Reserved seat for you for the entire season and they are $700-$900 Range. They are already all Sold out anyways.

I said to the Club, I am happy to pay $1000 for my membership but can you guarantee me a GF ticket? The answer is NO. You must Sign up for what is available only.

Not worth it at all.
