Yes , the odds are shortening dramatically on McMahon getting a rookie spot .

I mean, it’s not unusual to be limping immediately after knee surgery even for a clean out, right?

True , but bookies rarely get it wrong .

Durdin and Carroll still the favourites IMO Mick

He needs to be better than his effort at about the 3 minute mark - https://www.carltonfc.com.au/video/1706 ... 4592578001

Beaten comprehensively in that contest by the younger and smaller Wilson.

Ed Curnow on SEN now being interviewed by Dwayne about an Ironman event down Lorne way.

Dwayne asked how Charlie is doing with his injury and let's just see Ed didn't give a very convincing prognosis and said the club is "managing" him to "fire at the right time".

It's good when you have someone outside the PR restrictions tell us what's really going on.

I wouldn't be surprised if he misses the first month.

I wouldn't be surprised if you're negative on most things.

Managing him to fire at the right time - how can you view this as "could miss a month"

I've had multiple knee clean-outs. You limp afterwards.

1-2 weeks ? how about forever . Well , slight limp anyway . Mind you , I had my knee done when I was getting on in years so that might have something to do with it .

Don't think so . When one of my sons had a similar thing in his footy playing days he was up and running in the blink of an eye . Recuperative powers of young fit blokes is phenomenal .

Positive signs for Charlie Curnow - he’s back in light skills at Carlton after December knee surgery. He aims to reintegrate into the main group by the end of the month.

The Blues resumed pre-season yesterday with a 2km time trial, won by young wingman Jaxon Binns

Reckon Binns is the young player on our list who is gonna step up this season . He's the modern day Trevor Keogh if I ever saw one .

I hope you're right Mick. I love his work rate but he lacks hurt factor IMHO.
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to see Lucas Camporeale go past him before the season is out.

Sounds like Binns took him down.

Lucky for us, there’s two months until the season starts.
