Hello Talking Carlton community,

If you're interested, a theatre play 'Football Evangelism' which I wrote is appearing in Carlton 'off Lygon Street' next weekend, Preliminary Final Weekend.

The story follows the friendship of Jack and Mick, two footy fans who bring religion to the religion which is aussie rules football.

The details and webpage link are below

Football Evangelism
La Mama Theatre HQ
205 Faraday Street, Carlton
Friday September 20th
Saturday September 21st
Sunday September 22nd
All shows at 7.30pm

https://lamama.com.au/whats-on/la-mama- ... vangelism/

Our motto, "Ditch the footy finals for the theatre!"

If you have any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them.

Cheers,
79 Vintage

Hey Vin , I'm a bogan from Frankston . That would be way to highbrow for me but congrats mate . I admire artistic and creative people . Despite my yobbo background I have a son who is a muso and a daughter who is very artistic and involved in the art world . The other son is a chip off the old block and has kept the bogan tradition alive . Dunno how I got two creatives in my family . Nothin" like me . Anyhow , hope its a sellout and congrats again . And good luck with your future pursuits .

Hey mate,

I’m in Tassie for the next ten days but would definitely have done that!

Good luck with it!

This sounds like a great story line.

Well done 79.

If I'm in Melb, would be a great show to come an see.
I've pencilled it in on the wall calendar.
