Hmm, I went to this one last year and it was a mess, there were so many people who rocked up at the hotel because it’s close to the Gabba anyone who wanted to walk in and attend the function did and ate all the food.

Just checked in at Newcastle Airport, terminal almost empty but still got my first “go blues” greeting from a group already seated.

Bought some coffee and breakfast and sat down, a minute later a guy walks up to the bar and orders a beer and sits down not far from me, is that you Heavs?

I was coming from Canberra. Nobody serving. Sad face
