Good news, last time Swans won 9 of first 10 was in 1945, and we all know what happened that year :fight: :fight: :fight:

Blame injuries all you want, that was piss weak.

Not enough pace and skill in the middle.

If things aren't going Carlton's way, your only trick can't just be to throw your best forward into defence.

Besides, the problem was in the middle.

Votes recorded for GreatEx
5. Nic Newman
4. Blake Acres
3. Alex Cincotta
2. Zac Williams
1. Jordan Boyd

Newman and Acres were the only ones done with any sincerity, throw a blanket over the rest (and throw them in the river)

Problem is in the coaches box.

We were never going to beat Sydney in Sydney but some of our selection are dumb
Voss needs to take a good look at himself it seems to me he wants all the same type of players
most side have variety of different types but Voss wants plodders one paced I honestly think we won’t
play finals this year till he changes things up

Pitto and gov can have a rest.
Gov pending weiters injury of course.
Yes he's a half decent kick but other than that doesn't offer a heap.

I hope the boys step up and put the foot on the throat of the suns next week.

6-4 with a hard draw so far is acceptable.

We were bottom 4 or there abouts this time last year.
It's not as bad as it seems, look at the cats.

Swans have a full list and were at home.
Let's win the next couple, work a few players back in and reassess.

Pro: picked a good night to catch up with a mate out here from London.

Con: sounds like everything.

Haven't turned up our toes for a long time. Feels like the end of a really tough run, with a really depleted line up against a team that is flying at a ground we never win at. Perfect storm for the ensuing shit show.

Happy to give a Mulligan on this one. Move on. Disappointing that we'll be out of the 8 by round's end but there's a long way to go in the year.

I’ll be surprised if we win one of the next 3.

That was horrible to watch

Why does everyone care so much about ladder positions at less than half way through the season.

Have all the teams draws been even?

Let's reassess in 12 or 13 weeks.

6-4, a crapload of injuries, onwards and upwards

What a shocker. I knew we were going to get run ragged with our 'land of the giants' strategy but not that bad. I didnt expect to not stick a tackle for most the night.
The club need to be smart here and brave. We are miles off and have been chasing our tail since our terrible pre season.
I would look at a strategy that has us as fit and fresh as we can be with players back for the last 8-10 rounds. It will cost us a few wins in the next month. We are still a slight chance to make the finals. Just need to be clever about it.

Injuries are an excuse but I still can’t see this list winning a premiership.

Top end is great but don’t have enough quality at the bottom end. We rely too much on our better players.

Not enough overlap run to be a serious contender. The Sydney runners tore us apart.
