I would expect them both to be named and for them to be given until the last minute to play. The emergencies will be interesting.

Cincotta would have to be in standby for Williams.

I’m not sure which of S Durdin or Lemmey are better choices for Weitering. One is young and inexperienced, the other is experienced but hasn’t played a game for a few months.

Word on BF from a couple of ITK posters is that Cerra got through training yesterday and is keen to play. Most likely he will not be risked this week. Weitering a 50/50 chance and will probably play. Williams 40/60 and a possibility. Fantasia ill so may be the only change.
Slightly different mail from them but both seemed to think Weitering will play.

Binns and Cincotta for Williams and Fantasia then. Potentially.

i'd be tempted to rest weiters and williams for this, bring in a couple of fit players Binns etc and just see how we go. Its a long season, we've set ourselves up well, only injuries and loss of form can hurt us, so keep up the mantra of next man up and take no long term risks with players.

DB, love the principle of ‘play fit’

If we rolled the dice / Jacob out / too early for lemmey and durdin, I’d try acres as the 3rd (intercept) defender to support Kempy and Young

There is zero chance we rest Weiters if he's able to play. Zero.

It would be mad if we did.

Hawkins and Cameron would run riot.

Insane proposition.

No change

Jaxon Binns, Alex Cincotta and Sam Durdin - now available after a VFL suspension from pre-season - have been named as emergencies

not rest, just not force the play and then he struggles for weeks to overcome the niggle. trust the system.

Challengers versus Champs . The heir apparents Harry and Charles want to wrestle the title from Tomahawk and Cameron . I"m backin " the up and comers . The Cats have as much to fear as us . Harry and Charles are due . Its us again .
