Yep, only way to steal the game from GWS

I'm a big fan of gws but in my opinion over the last ten years they have been the biggest burners (boourns) of the footy in history. What that means is you are always a chance if prepared to muscle up

Surprisingly we are currently favourites with the bookmakers. I realise Taylor and Coniglio are big losses for GWS however I still would have thought they would be clear favourites.

Coniglio out is huge.

We’ve always been his bunnies…

And quite possibly Cincotta

That leaves
Binns, Moir, Cowan, Akuei, Monohan, Lemmey,
Young, Okeefe and Wilson

I think Wilson went off in the VFL under concussion protocol. Akuei too late in the game

Bottom line, I think we need to bring in someone to replace McG (hopefully Marchbank but otherwise, Young with Kemp to play the McG role).
And we need to replace Saad and IMO we need someone to play the Fogarty role.
So I’d be looking at Fantasia as the sub.
And Cincotta to play the Fogarty role.
And then Cowan or Binns in to play the Saad role.

Outs: McG, Saad, Pittonet

And need to get back to our defensive best. Way too many holes in our team defence against Adelaide leading to way too easy shots at goal.

With Taylor and Coniglio (my second favourite Italian surname after Quattrocchi) out we can definitely win this.

Saad and McGovern out is huge though, and we'll need a couple of players to step up.

saad and gov alone are bigger outs to our structure than taylor and cog. throw in cerra, martin and motlop and we're really shooting off the back tee on this one.

Play one of TDK or Pitto, not both, we need runners or GWS will makes us look like witches hats. Team defence and pressure through the middle was way off against the Crows. Our backline looked ordinary cause the Crows went through the middle with ease and with little pressure. Nothing against Pitto either as he was pretty good at the weekend.

I like the idea of Cincotta to play the fog role!

Binns is not a defender so I’d be definitely going with Cowan to replace Saad.

Young/Marchbank to replace Guv.

Maybe Binns to replace Pitto?

i'm glad it's not just me. they demolished us last time, and we were playing much better footy and were healthier.

i think williams will play saad's role with more license to run, boyd to play williams role and get around the ground more, and yeah, maybe cowan or cincotta if he's available to play the boyd role.

we're going to need to need the best runner and disposal from the reggies (whoever that is??) to play for cerra. and i'd imagine marchbank comes in and plays kemp's role, and kemp becomes our intercept guy. kemp plays much better in the gov role than trying to lockdown their number 2. last season kemp looked ready to roll when gov went down.
