If we are, maybe the boys need a Vegas trip.

I thought our defense stood up well against North.

12.9.81 kicked against us.
21 shots at goal.
A freeby from a bad kicks in by Gov.

I thought the synergy was there, and a good spread of responsibility across the group.

Weiters did make a huge psychological difference, but his inclusion didn't win the game for us.

It has to be said that Forwards for both sides were given frees that were previously overlooked.
Bit of bad luck followed Marchbank in the first quarter.

I thought Gov was the only defender who was a bit loose on his opponent Curtis. Other than that a good performance.

I love the way Acres and Hollands run hard into defense filling the void left by one of the running defenders create when attacking: Williams, Saad Boyd.

I thought it was a good week to select best 23 players who missed first couple weeks. One soldier down, another steps up. Next week will be Young or Kemp.

So both coaches agreed on their 3,2,1 (or in this case their 5,4,3…).
I’ll bet it was Voss who gave Elijah a vote .

Whoever voted Hollands gave him 2 and Charlie 1. The other gave Charlie 2 and Cerra 1.

Yep. Congrats to the coaches for freeing Harry up and running him as a relieving ruck. TDK is so fit it only needs to be a few minutes per quarter. His endurance makes him a formidable weapon up the ground. Not just in the season proper but the pre-season as well. Perhaps it's taken some of the pressure off him and he can contribute significantly without being measured by scores alone. He's been our standout performer. I have no doubt the 1 ruck/additional runner option has helped improve our ability to score from turnover as well. That's increased significantly this year. Win/win.

And credit to him for the improvement in his goal kicking. He's more upright when kicking the ball now. Reward for persistence. Well done H.
Let's hope we can get now have some fortune with player availability.

Yes.
Personally I thought Cerra was better for longer than Elijah but he was very prominent after a slow start.

Blue Ball Sidey, not 8 ball.

It's Vegas, both easily solved
