Solid win in the end which reflected the gulf in the teams but as we know we’ve sometimes struggled to bury rubbish teams
Harry excellent again
Charlie solid
Small forwards actually hit the scoreboard which was nice to see
Great to have Weiters back
Cripps very good again in the middle as was Hewett
Bank the points, some extra percentage and move on
Also cop that Clarko you mug

Enjoyed Larkey giving away that rough free and then 50 for an end to end goal to Carlton in about 20 seconds. Goose. And didn’t the Carlton crowd give it to him. Goose

The game was over umpired, yes. But Norf were undisciplined and just plain inexperienced/dumb. 5 50m penalties is a lot to give away.

Harry was amazing.
Charlie needs to take a step back and stop trying to be the highlight reel.

I felt we just did what we had to do. Freo will be the first real test.

What the hell was happening getting into the game? I spent better part of half an hour in a queue to get in, never had that at Docklands before!?

And what the hell was happening at Spencer St Station afterwards?!

A messy game, but good to feel on top of things the whole time. Plenty of goal scorers.

Some very soft moments; I did wonder how much that stupid bye played into this?

As bad as the umpiring was both ways today, I did feel for the Kanga's fans. We know from out dark years that frustrated players trying to go hard and not up to the task give away too many dum frees, and it feels like the world is against you. I'm sure the coach had them all angried up as well, which wouldn't have done them any favours.

Yeah it was ridiculous getting in there. Thought we'd allowed plenty of time but ended up missing the first 15 min of the game. Communication at gate 7 a joke too.

Afterwards I think there was a trespasser at Southern Cross

Good solid win. A lot of good players but I must point out TdK, Harry, Cripps and Cerra in particular.
Great to have Weitering back and what a 1st game from Elijah. Classy player.
Poor Marchbank can't take a trick but the guy can play.

There is something seriously wrong with the ball bounce at this stadium!!!
Speaking of something wrong - posters putting McGovern in their best.

Great win, ugly game though.
Glad to get the percentage, should come in handy.
Harry has had a brilliant start to the season, the ruck duties are really helping his game.
Curnow had a good one also, hopefully it was just a stinger.
Good to see Owies and Durdin putting some pressure on the scoreboard.
TDK competed well all day, except for those couple of hot handballs when playing on from the mark.
Cripps, Cerra and Hewett did well against a young but talented quick midfield.
Good to have the general back.
I hope Marchbank is ok.
Halfbacks not as influential but did their jobs.
Elijah had a slow start but started to get his feet in the end, he looks like a solid get.
Fantasia came in and done some nice things also.
Acres probably had his worst game for us, that 3rd quarter was cringe worthy.
There must be something up with Ollie, seems to be struggling to find some form.
A quite one from Cotters, did a couple of nice things though.

Interesting stat pre game that 3 of the last 4 premiers were all no.1 in scoring from defence.
We really need our halfbacks and wings stepping up this year.

Go Blues!.

Scrappy game but happy with the win. It was a nice change not having the stress of a close result.
Harry was great. Umpires were terrible and it is all people are talking about.
Way too many frees paid.
Like others not sure why Marchbank came straight back in, he was very ordinary.
Hope Charlie's ankle is ok.
I just want to say how wonderful it is that both clubs have really embraced this game. Surely we get to play very Good Friday from now on.

Maybe Acres only plays well if the game is hot and close.

We have the WORST 4 crumbers in the AFL

This is the biggest flaw in our game...by a mile

Happy with the win, the margin and the twin towers, but boy, we don't seem to put the fear of god into the opposition once the ball falls to the ground inside 30

Nice even win ......................... North have got a couple of great kids . Watching Sheezel is like watching a hot knife slice through butter . Brilliant youngster . And Wardlaw is a Tractor .

Cerra's best game this year by a mile, good to see him find form

Maybe if Clarkson had put 12 defenders each on Harry and Charlie.

I think Motlop and Fogarty and a Durdin will be our best options going forward - but another good one wouldn’t hurt.

Owies gets it done with less fanfare
