I feel positive. Maybe it's the carnival atmosphere of Gather Round but I just feel happy about all things football and am looking forward to the game even if we don't get up.

I'm not feeling confident and haven't been all week.

I just think Freo will want to prove themselves and it's simply another game in a long season for us.

A great test this week.

Guessing Hewett goes to Serong who has had a great start to the year.

Hayden Young has moved into the middle this year and his pace + long left foot kick is a weapon.

Three elite/running defenders in Luke Ryan, Jordan Clark and Aish.

Weakness in terms of key defence; Alex Pearce is more than capable as a key tall but Joshua Draper is next up and has only played two games. Drag Pearce away from the action.

Ryan is elite but Aish and Clark are extremely pedestrian. Their other rebounders are rookies.

The coaches will be viewing Freos weakness here as the key to victory.

If cotters, fog, or ehollands put a hard tag on Ryan the rest of the system should suffocate them.

As long as Charlie and Harry can keep Pearce busy it could get ugly.

Jackson Vs TDK will be pivotal to the result in this game, whichever team has the ascendancy in the midfield will eventually prevail. It will always be the key to our game, Port Adelaide showed all competing teams how it’s done.

Cracking day here, saw a Geelong supporter at 10.00 cracking his first beer

A really intriguing game between 2 undefeated teams.

TDK v Jackson. 2 high jumping athletic rucks going at it (pick 3 vs pick 30). This is huge.

Brayshaw and Cerong are quicker than Cripps and Hewett, but expecting our bigger boys to win contest.
Last week Kangas mids looed a bit more eager to get first hands on ball, but we won on the outside.
Maybe there's something in that.

In a game of attrition, I believe our stronger bodies and strong tackling will wear them down.

Its the hard selfless running of Cottrell, Acres, Hollands and Hollands and Cerra which will give us a huge advantage.

I'm expecting Cerra to be best on ground.

Beautiful day for footy.

Expect to win by a goal a quarter at minimum. Harry amd Charlie can beat their score alone if Freo dont keep them quiet, but feel something brewing with our smalls and goals, so 6 goals win not out of the question. Harry and Charlie are not going to be quiet.

Its a great day for the baby shower.

Lets shower Captain Crippa with Navy Blue rain bombs through the big sticks.

Anyone else having flashbacks to our 2023 Gather Round debacle against the Crows? :banghead:
Hopefully, we don't see a repeat of that today.
Go Blues!

I think (hope) we’ve matured beyond those sort of performances where we just don’t turn up. Standards have been raised

The 80s Hawks would not have beaten Adelaide that night.

I'm normally nervous but I'm weirdly confident about this game. We're superior to Fremantle

Owies sub is interesting... Hopefully Durdin and Fantasia show plenty, because I thought Owies showed more
