With Cunners and Marchbank I really think it's time to cut them loose. They are talented footballers, and I'm sure they are lovely people, but they rarely get on the park. We aren't a benevolent society for injury prone footballers. Tough job to have to tell players it's over, I've always been a fan of Marchy too, but enough is enough. Martin and McGovern should be on thin ice too, jeeze, the millions we've paid those two for disappointing return.

McGovern played almost every game last season it think. I am pretty sure the penny has dropped for him so I wouldn’t include him with the others.
With Martin, Marchbank and Cunners, no point chopping them if there isn’t anybody better available. We might have ended up with another couple of picks in the 60s who aren’t going to add anything to our list.
Marchbank, Cunningham and Martin were instrumental in our run to the prelim last year.
I get the frustration, but cutting them from the list isn’t going to improve our position on the field. We need them until others can step up and take over their positions.

hmmm. depending on contract and cap space letting them go could benefit us? free up some cap and let us chase some players at season end.

all of which may mean little, considering they'll get flogged at training and no one in the rehab rooms knows how to put body's back back together.
