Not great about Motlop or Marchbank. No mention of Moir.

It appears Andrew Russell has no idea what he is doing.

That injury list is unacceptable.

Motlop re-injuring his hamstring is very disappointing. Last week Marchbank was listed 1-2 weeks

Bloody hell, what a joke.
It seems like this happens to us every single year.

When will Russell fall ? He surely has a lot to answer for. We cant get on having our seasons hijacked by injury like this every single year.

He died.

It’s the only way off the list.

It's Adelaide. They're our black cat under a ladder team.

So, for those that know something about injury management. How is it even remotely possible that a guy who is prone to injury generally, gets a soft tissue injury and then whilst in "recovery" manages to sustain a further hamstring injury?

That does not make any flowering sense. Surely your recovery program would be one where there is basically zero chance of adding another hamstring injury????

his hammy was worse than motlops.

how these boys are re-injuring hammies is really mindblwoing. not even in junior footy with a part time physio/ full time alcho do you get kids running and re-injuring themselves.

it's a team effort. russell flogs them, the re-hab dept gives them the all clear to resume training. i know some peeps here hate hearing it. but there's an embedded arrogance still running deep at the blues. i rememeber when russell first started he tried to introduce a few new things, and was shut down

"nah, this is how we do it here, mate. we don't need to be changing that up"

clearly it's not working. we're perennially among the most injured teams in the league, and the most man games lost from injury etc....

it seems like it coz it does Kezza

but we have repeat offenders on that list, marchbank, cunners, martin, mcgovern, although not as much recently, fog is a repeat offender, although punching fyfe is worth the broken wrist...

but the motlop one is bizarre, from 1-2 weeks to 5-6, he must be rehabilitating with jack martin

in years gone by i'd think we were tanking....

maybe so braithy, but he has been here long enough to put his own style on this, and voss and co have swept the place clean. i dont know anyone in the inner sanctum anymore, so i'm looking at this from a long way away, but that arrogance seems gone

i just wish our fitness and conditioning staff would be gone too. they did the right think with walsh, but the soft tissue injuries are staggering
