Not a bad draw. Only thing I am disappointed with is no game on the Gold Coast, which I usually go to.
We only have to play 3 of this year's top 8 teams twice.
If I have read it correctly we only tavel interstate once in the last 7 rounds.

Yeah , its like the AFL are going out of there way to give us the best possible chance of having a good year . The dumb faaarks have finally worked out that the Blues going well means the AFL booms . Better late than never i suppose . The penny has finally dropped .

And i might add that the more favourable draw is due to an excellent relationship that our plum CEO Brian Cook has with the powers that be . Cook is an operator . Tip toes his way around the AFL minefield beautifully . And i believe his 2IC Crookes is travelling very well under the mentorship of Cook . In line to take over the mantle .Thats what i'm hearin ".

Agreed. Was looking forward to going next year. Will head to one of the Sydney games instead.

Playing twice against Filth, Ferals and Pussies (not at Kardinia) is a great outcome, I'd much rather double up against old rivals than GCS and other non entities.

Brisbane won every single home game this season, didn't they?
They won every single home game last season except for against Melbourne.

So the AFL gives Carlton the hardest possible opening match. Nice scheduling.

yeah, after me bleeding over the perennial Richmond opener, AFL goes one better to Really piss me off.

They could not have come up with Anything WORSE than us having to go back to the Gabba again first up.

Absolute Pricks.

We play 9 games against teams who travelled the week before.
2 to Tassie
1 to Darwin we get GC
Geelong the week after Gabba trip

We also play mid-season bye round against a team that had the bye as well, plus we get one team coming off bye.

Get bombers after Anzac day

I also think that they have the chance to go to Brisbane early to prepare for Gabba

Draw looking ok

Yep, good analysis. I’d rather play Brisbane first up than round 6 onwards.

Also good to get one interstate game out of the way.

Our run home is good too. Only 1 travel in the last 7 weeks, & that's to play the eagles.

Not a bad draw fro finishing 4 th
As I have said before the draw is as big a joke as the AFL

It’s all about maximising the folded stuff

I recall a pre-season game at Rosebud against the demons, going to guess 1991. Possibly another held the Basin in 1990?
