Not sure if this is the correct thread but tickets for club members go on sale tomorrow for rounds 1-15. Rounds 1 and 8, against Richmond and Collingwood respectively, will be fully ticketed matches and anyone member without a reserved seat must upgrade for these two games.
General public tickets go on sale Wednesday.

I got straight on. My daughter has a GA membership and I was able to upgrade to a seat for the Collingwood game and buy an extra ticket as well.
My grandson is a junior member who has home and away tickets. I tried to use his barcode for the Good Friday match and hopefully buy some extra tickets but is says there are no member entitlements.

I got a ticket for the Richmond and the Collingwood games.
No joy getting the Norf game.

My mates and I sit together in a group of 4 and could only get 2 tickets for the Collingwood game. Not impressed.

We tried upgrading to reserved seats again this year too, but unsurprisingly they were sold out.

Is there any buzz around Round 0 up north?

Because I literally keep forgetting we're playing this week.

I wrongly assumed that all teams playing this week have a round 2 bye.
Not the case the byes will be spread out over several rounds.
I just don't see how this is worth it, really ruins the season commencement

It was done to cash in northern markets whilst NRL was in Vegas playing and no Nrl was being played

They played there last weekend

I actually like it. Probably because the 4 games themselves are all very good.

And it's too hot in Melbourne this weekend for footy anyway

Compelling stats show teams must win at least one of their first two games to be a premiership contender. For Carlton, hit with a brutal run of injuries to key players and facing two tough opponents over the next week, it threatens to derail their premiership dream by mid-March

1. Stop writing us off before the first bounce FFS.
2. Anyone who follows AFL stats should realise that Carlton is the team who has been the exception to many of these last two seasons.

Plenty of NRL games going on. In fact there's more NRL games played during the so called "zero round" than AFL games, day and night.

What an absolute farce.

Sydney Melbourne H & A game last year at the SCG attracted a greater attendance to the SCG than they did last night. Free hit    Yeah right.

If this opening round wasn’t silly enough already, four of the teams playing this weekend will take a fitness advantage into their next game.

Not us, of course.

GWS & GC, naturally. Melbourne & Brisbane the others.

Yeah nah, I men the teams that have a live game under their belt will be fitter than the ones that don’t.

One day doesn’t make much difference these days. Hopefully Coolangatta does what Coolangatta does & they get stuck up there.

Unfortunately, there’s no real advantage on the punt this time around. GC might fatten up a multi, if that’s your poison.

Same theory applies to teams coming off a bye. More often than not, they’re aren’t ‘refreshed’ at all. They’ve lost momentum.
