The real question should be: What happens if we gave them Paul Bower instead of Kennedy?
Simple, they say 'no'...

It was worth it for trade week 2007 alone, loved it

That night was something special. Went to the gym wearing my match day Carlton jumper and as I walked in people I barely knew were cheering, jumping off exercise bikes, dropping barbells and running over for a group hug with fists pumping. It was exhilarating. And the looks on the faces of the Collingwood supporters. If I’m not mistaken that night was right up there with the greatest number of supporters ever logging onto TC

A few of us even gathered for a celebratory drink on Drummond St that night.

Don't know how true this is, but I heard at the time Kennedy didn't want to go. Also, that his family was concerned about him going to Wet Toast because of their drug issues.
