Played with a never give up attitude from half way through. Very gutsy.

Nothing is guaranteed and will need a good run with injury, noting the fixture will be tougher in 2024.

Maybe need some more speed/class around the ball and in the small forward group.

Pride fully restored. What a ride the back half of the year was.

The sleeping giant finally truly awoke. Showed we can be a legitimate contender.

Still much improvement needed but hopefully the players and coaches get immense belief out of this year.

High quality finals campaign and two monumental wins. Unreal.

It was good to be at pointy end of season.
Left to much to late.
Apart from the 1st quarter tonight I thought we didn't play well but got over the line since round 22 Melbourne game.

Williams will add to the team
We need to add another Acres if we are going to be here next year.

Cripps was bunged up for last 6 weeks.
Harry needs to sort his kicking out.
Holland needs to hit the gym
Marchbank needs to be signed up.
Cunningham needs signing and along with Acres and Doc get shoulders sorted.
Got the sense Charlie form dropped when Ed was left out. The boy in Charlie needs to become a man.
Motlop will be better next year
Owies needs to learn how to stay in the game.
Get the sense TDK will be 2024 superstar

We don't want for much we have nearly 30 players who are ready.

Just need to stop turning it over

It was a great ride and fun at last

Binns, Cowan (and whoever else) need to be brought in = more run
but @#$%&! me it was great to win games, to watch the courage of this side, to be in it up to our necks again

I don't think I've been as down on the club over my time at TC as many others - maybe being in Sydney and not having to witness the gloating or the surround sound media helps - and I've always managed to find crumbs of comfort even at our lowest ebbs, but boy it has been sweet to feel like this club is really in the thick of it again. The genuine tension during games, the involuntary whoops and claps that have my wife googling local nut houses... they're back in all their glory, and I love it! I'll probably even pay attention to the draft and trade periods for a change, knowing that another move or two like the Acres trade could send us straight to the top! Can't wait for next March, and it's not just because I loathe hot weather since moving back home from Europe 15 years ago, nor because cricket had lost its magic. Nah, it's all about the baggers. Gonna treat myself to my first ever membership, 100k for #17, let's do this!!

Better season than expected at the start of 5he year - realistic hope was to win one final
Definitely better season than expected after the half way mark

Backline were pretty good all year - Saad, mcG, Newman, waiters
Kemp, Boyd, marchy all made big strides. Cincotta and Cowan chipped in
Ollie and acres! Wow - remember when we didn’t have wings?
Harry and Charlie good and great - just got to improve the kicking.
Cunners, Martin, fog all got better
JSOS cerra Walsh and TDK all had a great year.
Kennedy,owies Pitto and Motlop and Cotterall, George had good patches
Doc and Cripps battered and solid

Even Dow showed what he can do.
Binns, Williams to come in

I realise the year is not completely done and dusted football-wise, but I would also like to thank all on here for contributions made throughout Season '23.

Always nice to be able to share and discuss with others, both the beautiful and ugly, that any football season brings with it.

TC is a pretty important part of my life, and not taken for granted.

it’s a peculiar feeling hey…closer to the holy
grail than last year…but so much less disappointment…!

you’re right Dawwg…TC is pretty important to me
too…it’s a connection to the little village we’ve
all help build over the years…!

we always get drawn back to it…!

congratulations to all the match day attendees…
you’ve made us all very proud with your sound…!

congratulations to the boys for having such
a great season…the club is building…the momentum
is really gathering…!

The most satisfying part of 2023 was the effort from the team. There was genuine heart and consistency in performance in back half of the year. We had no right to win the Melbourne final but we found a way. A game I won’t forget. This should be the minimum standard.

Thought our defence was great all year, even when we were losing games. Thought Kemp made a difference when he came into the team and hopefully sets him up for a stellar career.

Really liked the continued improvement in De Koning. Thought he had a good finals series and should give him confidence to become a really good player.

Going forward, we need to find more run and zip between the arcs. Thought we were too defensive at times and rely too much on winning contested ball. Fogarty and Cotterill made really good contributions but don’t offer much offensively. Finding a Zac Bailey type would make a difference as our forwards struggle to find separation. This would greatly help Curnow and McKay find space and not rely on contested marks.

All in all, a satisfying year but let’s hope the club realises the job is not done yet.

I woke up this morning very disappointed.
Not in our team but in yyesterday's result.
Well done Blue baggers on a season that you rescued.
Let's make 2024. a consistent season where we play at our best for 24 weeks , without this year's mid season slump.
So proud of our team, but won't settle for second best in years to come.

I caught a glimpse of it on the telecast. It appeared that Adam Saad was doing most of the talking.

Its all part of it.

Just felt that this year was 'pinchable', like 2008 hawthorn.
