I had a look at hotels.com yesterday and a few rooms had come on for Saturday. None under $900 for the night. Stamford Plaza was over $5,000 for the night.

I hope the Qantas staff don't get too upset with Carlton supporters singing 'Da da da da da....' on the flights back to Melbourne on Sunday.

Hi all,
I don’t usually make comment, but like everyone I can’t believe how good and gutsy the team now is.
My memory of being at the Melbourne game with my two young daughters who had never seen a successful carlton team, let alone a final, and the joy on their faces will stay with me for the rest of my days.
