Acres re-injured his shoulder so must be in some doubt.

Not the best Game to lose Harry.... May/Lever will have a ball out unless we find a 2nd forward that can make an impact!

Motlop looked a little nervous, maybe it was hard for him to come in late and adapt to the pace of the game.

He should be better for the experience, I hope, if he starts next week.

McKay out
JSOS in if fit
Ollie hollands in if acres out
Don’t think Jesse M did himself any favours - wonder if the nature of finals is going to suit him…wonder if Durdin is better.
Dow sub

A week is a long time in shoulders (footy)

The composition of the team will depend on JSOS availability. If he is fit and Harry injured, simple swap. If Harry okay, Pittonet out. He is simply not value around the ground and blatantly slowed us tonight.

Motlop should get a go particularly if Martin is not available.

Sub. Dow.

I thought we were a little slow tonight and these changes will help to eradicate that.

JSOS has missed a fair bit of footy.

Post subject:  Re: SF: Melbourne Vs Carlton (Pre match discussion)

out: Harry (concussion), Martin (will get a week, but should get another for not hitting him harder), Marchbank (not up to it), dumb footy, blind panic, maybe Pitto, maybe Acres

in: Kennedy (forward), Motlop to start, Hollands or Dow if Acres doesnt come up, brains, better teamwork, confidence, maybe sos for Pitto

we bomb it into the forward line and poo ourselves in the backline and we are cooked, the sooky dees are too experienced. but they have more to lose than we do, we did what we needed to do and win a final tonight, the pressure is well off now

we bring the same game that beat them last time and we will advance. tonight, though, showed there are scars from last year, and internal pressure

if we go down, and we go down fighting, i'll be proud

if we win, i'll be legless

True but don’t you think a game like tonight would be his kind of game - all pressure and effort?

Voss confirmed Harry will miss due to concussion protocols.

Need Martin to get off big time.

My concern too. Probably three changes. In Motlop, Dow, Boyd, Hollands sub. We looked a little slow. I thought Pitto was pretty good in the ruck, TDK not so much.
