The ticket SMS is often slow, it should be in your Ticketek account and there is also usually a link in the email you receive.

It's the waiting that's the killer. You don't know if you are in a moving queue or if the system has gone into meltdown and you are just stuck.

Logged in at 10am, 20 minutes in the queue - success. 2 tickets, lower level undercover so I'm very pleased.

Of course the anxiety just heightens the further into the final series you progress. Not getting too far ahead of myself, but thankfully when it comes to Grand Final tickets, in recent years there has been a registration process.

If your membership ticket guarantees you a GF ticket, all you need to do is make sure you register during the time allocated for your level of membership and you will be allocated a ticket. Those without GF ticket entitlements, need to register to be included in the ballot.

So far it's been far less stressful than Taylor Swift tix for my daughter but agree come GF week, the tension will well and truly tighten.

The AFL members sale was much quicker for me.

Kezza? Did you get some?

Sure did.
I was at work this morning so my daughter offered to get them.
She got our 7 tickets in M35 by 10.15.
I have heard that lots of people could only get level 4 and are not too happy about it.
Anyway as long as we are there.

That is interesting. I got my son tickets for Collingwood are they are in Q14 but are general public tickets. Maybe that section is half AFL members and half public.

What price point were they?

$61

Did find it amusing that before it allocated seats it asked which team I was a member of. When I answered Carlton, it allocated me seats in M35 so I thought must be Carlton cheer squad end. I then discover Carlton cheer squad is up the other end.
Oh well.
Like Bondi, first time on ground floor in years so looking forward to the extra atmosphere. And when we smash them and all the swanny fans leave early, can go right up to the fence to high 5 the boys!

You are in the same section as me.

Seems like an eternity ago we were in a final.

Yeah. Noticed that. Hopefully be a large navy blue contingent in that area.

I'm an AFL member, took about 20 minutes to get through. But as said earlier, it's the waiting that's the killer. No idea where you are in the queue!

Now nervously in the queue with all the other punters

Wish me luck

Good luck. I was able to get my son some tickets for the Collingwood game without too much trouble.

Back in my favourite place the Ticketek Lounge for Pt 2.
2 days in Melbourne so will join the big big sound and hope they get the job done against the Saints.
This lounge needs a bar and perhaps some light acoustic entertainment.

All gone, according Ticketek.
Is there a secondary market?
