I’m just sad for JSOS and Acres (assuming his collarbone is broken) who will miss.

Should be a fine, but we’ll have to pop a couple gemstones into the KC to argue deliberate down to careless.

I know we're all horribly biased, but I truly think if I'd seen any player, Toby Greene included, on any team do that I'd see it for precisely what it is. Accidental contact, immediately realised and adjusted.

I just can't even see what the problem is when you actually watch the footage.

It's talk back radio fodder for the next 3 days.

Am I totally deluded?

If I'm not mistaken....

Last time we played Swans in a final at MCG was 1987. We won. Plus won flag.

Yeah , Sunday afternoon at the MCG and i was there. And i reckon history will repeat itself .
I was there with my Swans supporting dad.

Went up to Sydney in 2010 & 13 also, uuugh. We owe this mob

Pretty sure that swans final was 1986 where we ultimately lost gf to hawks.
Finished on top in 87 so had opening week off. Straight to 2nd semi against hawks which we won and straight through to granny.

No. He's trying to pull him off and slips. Everyone can see that except the usual anti Carlton nuffies and probably the MRO tho.

Exactly. Once he realises, he immediately moves his hand.

i think weiters will get a week. accident or not, they don't want players around the face, let alone the eyes. more should be made of why greene is choking mcgovern 20 seconds after the whistle was blown for a free, but all that seems to be lost

weitering is pretty dumb. eve of the finals and he's out here giving lash and brow treatments

If Weiters did nothing after the grub put his shoulder down into the back of govs head and buried it into the ground we'd be just as upset. Had to make a stand in that moment just as Greene was trying to do.
Just unfortunate his hand accidentally went near the face.

I think he'll play. Fine at best for being careless

Seriously….

I’ve never seen nor heard a player do what
Greene did last night…!

he knows it wasn’t intentional…yet committed
the ultimate dog act…on national TV…!

no excuses…!

a normal bloke would say…”yeah-nah…don’t remember”…
or “nothing in it”…but he chose the dog act…!

kindest regards tommi

and that’s not fair on dogs either….!

And people saying if roles were reversed people would be after Toby's blood. What they don't add to that though is Toby has plenty of form when it comes to dog acts.
In short Toby's a d1ckhead. Weiters isn't.

I’m nervous as all hell re Weiters and Acres.

But let’s just take a moment to acknowledge there is an “Elimination Final Pre Match Discussion” thread.

Wowee.

am i tripping balls here; i actually think of the two we miss acres more.

structurally at the back, we've a very good system & young would come into that intercepting role and the swans don't have a big forward that scares me.

acres has so many intangibles to the run and carry and bullock our way through the middle. he sucks in defenders every time he gets the ball which creates all kinds of space for the run of walsh/ cerra etc

Normally I'd say he's taking the piss, but as it's Toby Greene we're talking about it's simply because he's a complete cauliflower .

Last time we met Heeney went to Cripps and took him to the cleaners
think Crippa will have revenge on his mind
