19/8/23 I was driving between Gundagai and Yass as we came back from a 40 point deficit against Gold Coast to make the finals for the first time in a decade. Started hooting and laughing when the siren went. Wombat the dog thought I was having a medical emergency. |

1987 grand final. 30 degrees. Very sweaty. I was swimming around in my old man's nut sack. I wasn't even born yet, but I remember it, because the old man got hard. |

No hat, no sun screen in the blazing sun and on the full strength beers all day. Ahh, bliss. Geez she was a tough old night though. |

Seeing my old man standing on a chair in Row D behind the goals at the city end of the G in 99 when Justin Murphy had the ball and the siren went. My dad isn't that demonstrative. Never seen a reaction like it or since.. |
