Suggest those criticising Marchbank watch the game again.
Took some crucial marks (7) and knew where to run to. Take him over Young any day.

Everyday of the week

Glad to have him back running and getting accustomed to the pace 6 weeks before the finals.

If Marchbank survives, it will be at the expense of Kemp or Boyd who is a lock to come back in. No worries if this occurs. No need to mansplain it for me and talk about other players who I've defended.
There's a reason we have a squad of 40 players to choose from. The same 22 blokes aren't always available or in form.

Relax, a fit and in form Marchbank would be a good problem to have.

Fingers crossed that he gets there.

Dear Peter daicos yes your boys are ok but you don't need to celebrate like its 1999 whenever one of your crotch goblins kicks a goal.

I have to say, I'm a dad of 2 boys who play footy and I do. In fact I cheer louder for my boys, and I'm loud as it is.

Peter Daicos' celebration of his boys, is a million times better than Steve Silvagni's celebration, where he looks as happy as a funeral.

Agree with this. I love seeing that. And I really didn’t like SOS’s deadpan.
I wore my Carlton jumper all day yesterday - the two best reactions were random people from a grandma to a homeless person giving me the thumbs up and starting a conversation about the game; and the Pies supporters giving me every excuse in the book and blaming it on the u,piers and their poor accuracy in front of goal (I initially pointed out the reverse was true the first time we played them earlier in the year but they weren’t listening anyway so just gave that up, smiled, and assured them that, yes, the Pies are clearly on track for a flag…).

PS. Although Cerra went down with a hammy, I think it was totally worth it b/c I am not sure we would have been in a position to win without his extraordinary first half. But now, we need to frank this win by beating the Saints on Sunday.

Agree, I doubt we win that game without Cerra. He owned the game in the first half and without him we were at risk of being overrun in the first quarter. He got us going and got everyone else’s confidence up. He’s become a genuinely elite mid this year

These are the same people who rubbed our noses in the dirt when we kicked badly at goal against them last year.

This has been an awesome run of six wins on the trot. With continuous injuries to players that were in our best 22 we have managed to plug in and play someone else without seeing a noticeable drop off which is really impressive. We seem to have finally become a cohesive unit, it took a while but we are finally there. This is probably the best football I have seen Carlton play over the last 25 years.

Every player that earns a spot in the 1's knows that there's another guy on his heels if he falters. There's no more Fisher and LOB in there with a guaranteed spot and that's a really good thing.

Hopefully we stomp the 'aints next week.

I just want to add - I love the fact when we play Collingwood as the away team, we wear our traditional away strip, white shorts!!!!
No clashes!!!

It was a lot more fun watching the replay last night than the cricket!
