We hate it hey…. that bloody sound they make when they’re cocky and in front…well…it’s our turn…! it’s tough not getting to the games these days… so starting a charnt like the old Fevola one is a bit difficult…! but hey…lets try something…! I’ve had an idea…! our black and white friends have managed to turn a three syllable word…into four…just so they can fit it into their song…from memory…”wood” is one syllable…dick…heads…! a few years back we had a sticker that said… “We are Carlton”…well…there it is…simple as that… four syllables…and it comes out perfectly…! can you hear it…nice and slow…? ”WEEE ARRRRRE CARRRRL-TOOON…. WEEE ARRRRRE CARRRRL-TOOON”… yup…not just a random word…but a statement…it’s who we are…”We…Are…Carlton”…! so what I’m saying is…if anyone hangs near the cheer squad….or if there’s a group of you…start it up folk…it won’t take long to go around the ground…! if we’re leading…people will latch on in a flash… just make sure it’s not too fast…it has to be slow… like a war cry…! come on baggers…we need one…the Colon-woods didn’t invent the charnt…they don’t own it…! try it out in your head…tell your kids…they’ll love it…lets go Blue boys…! kindest regards tommi because the fact of the matter is…we are…! |

I like it. Take the p1ss outta them. It's easier than asking everyone to bring a golden jacket. Probably less offensive too. Also beats waving a scarf around. |

That’s right kerna…. i remember the Come on You Blues…that’s not bad…but i feel like we’d be asking for an improvement…! Come on you Blues…pick it up…! we don’t like “WE ARE CARLTON”…? i can see it getting up peoples noses a bit…and could really reverberate…! having said that…we need a war cry…and as long as everyone’s on the same page…it’ll work… whatever it is…! it can’t be too wordy though…but four syllables is pretty good…! i feel “CARRRL-TOOON”…is a bit boring…! a good solid war cry…! kindest regards tommi |
