Jon Anderson said on radio this morning that Carlton fans have been waiting for nearly 25 years for their club/team to make a statement in a game that matters - time to start fellas.

Nice Seventy9….

i admire your commitment…!

I’m fantasising we kick 15 goals in the first 1/4….and
then a lazy 5 goals a 1/4 from there…30 goals orta
do it…!

It’s only 30 shots at goal…!

kindest regards tommi

Let's hope there is no difference between my view of reality and your view of fantasy!
Having said that let's hope Charlie can kick a lazy bag of five plus goals!

I was laughing at the number 25 considering what happened 24 years ago, but admittedly I overlooked the word "almost". Still, it's pretty weird to think that the elimination and semi-finals we've played in the past 13 or so years are not considered games that matter. So I retract my "lol" and replace it with a "pfft".

Memo to Charlie - We want to see you turn it on in a big game against the best side.

It's all well and good to beat up on the lower teams, but it's time to show your worth against the best.

He was ineffective in Rounds 22 and 23 last year. Needs to step up tonight.

And FFS - take your 30 seconds!

The team needs to step up their support

AND I can see how it would be easy to think he had a poor 2 games against the Dees and pies last year at 3 goals 9. However, his effort against the pies was outstanding and had him just outside the votes

And I’d like him to kick 5.3 tonight to flip round 23 on its head

He infuriated me in that game.

Hope he dominates tonight

He doesn’t need to dominate - his role may be to drag 3 defenders out of our scoring zone…
