Can Voss not see that the players love Dow and he did alright much worse than him out there.

clearly not.... could he be a sub? doesnt the sub need to be omitted before they can be announced? however, i reckon he will play in the twos and walk at season's end.

yes, he has his flaws, but his effort in the last couple of games was better than a lot of his mates, so, again, selection integrity is out the window. i have no doubt hewitt took his place, but hewitt is much slower. i'm quite disappointed about this. dow wont be a gun for any other team, but he will be a very good contributer, which is what we lack

Doubt he’s the sub he’s not even in the extended squad.

I think we as members actually need an explanation on Dow.

Paddy hasn't played a full game for three weeks . Needs a full game in the magoo's . I reckon he will get back . I am more concerned about the doubt on TDK . Thats come out of thin air . Any clues what the problem is ?

@#$%&! Dow... @#$%&! trying something different

Let's stick with the tried and tested one paced midfield that has failed us so far... oh and make Curnow the super dynamic sub as well

Binns is my only selection interest this week...

What if he has significant mental health issues? What if his effort at training is disruptive or below the standard required? What if he isn't professional enough in his preparation?
Do you really want the club to make those aspects public to appease supporters at the expense of the players privacy or the opportunity to give him a chance elsewhere?

I'd love to see him get a full game but I understand there are personal aspects that can't be shared.

Why is TDK no cert?
Didn't train today, not sure why though

Was busy checking out properties in Vaucluse…

Vaucluse!!!
Starting price is $10M for a medium sized property.

There's also a few flats at the top end, no views, 1 car park and a 2 bedder shit box starts at $1.2M

What are they paying him?

I thought that would be Bondi... Not allowed into Vaucluse until he's over 50

Go Blues

I've got a nice pad at Bondi Beach, but dont live there, coz I'm married and over 50, and I refuse to pay $12 a scooner at the pub, and don't do Boost juice.

TDK the Hipster? I dont think he can grow a beard, but he can just be a surfer milking dad's fortune.

Pitto out injured ....

.... not quite there yet but starting to get into that "more out than in" category. We've got a few of them around the club and we might just have another 3-4 years of it.

report on Tom De Koning last night, TDK is 50-50 to play on Sunday vs Hawthorn at this stage. Has been battling a knock to the knee.

What about McGovern’s half arsed efforts but hey he gets a game
What Dow has showed in the limited he has gotten is enough to warrant another game whether it’s the sub or a full game

52 games in 9 seasons and never played more than 13 games in a season. I think he's the captain of that category

The point is most of us have no idea what's going on behind the scenes.
Obviously that doesn't include you. The way you quote everyones wage, obviously you've seen the books and know exactly what the players are paid.
But for the rest of us plebs, we have no idea what's going on in players lives unless they share it. Weitering losing most of his life savings as an example. It's not for the club to share the players life issues with the fans.
