Gotta laugh at Maguane ranking the players 1-44 and it getting published. That's the kind of rubbish I stopped doing when I was 10.

It's real peak Bill Simmons areas.

I'll have morning sickness if jake stringshot does anything other than making an arse of himself showboating. I am thinking tomorrow nights commentary is going to get uglier than jakey bucket of smashed crabs stringshot.

I foresee that we will lose a close game tonight and then Australia will lose to India in a close finish :banghead:

The joys of following sports teams that have an innate ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I foresee the opposite.

Indians chasing 444 are 3/164.
Ball 40 overs old at start of last day.
Cracks appearing on pitch. Lyon to bowl.
Boland doesnt mind the old ball.
300 run chase in a day with 7 wickets in hand.
Kohli, Rahane, Bharat, Jadeja,Thakur to bat.
New ball half way through the day or in 40 overs.

Effendopes on 7 wins
Carlton on 4.5 wins

4 quarters to play tonight at the G.
20km Northerly wind, but dry.

Carlton by 34 points. I hope....just the 4 points will do.

India won't win. They may hold on for a draw but won't win. Aussie win still most likely result though.

Closer to home, we'll win tonight. Take it to the bank.

I hope you are right.
I think that if India can bat all day, they will get the runs.
Go Blues tonight.

Blows my mind that they do Frankston and Sandy lines at same time.
Then again logic and common sense isn't as exactly this piece of shit governments strong point.

If the current pair bat through the opening session they may get the runs but once they lose a couple I reckon they'll be pretty quick to shut up shop.

It says a lot about where our club is at - that the thread has veered off course to discuss Australia’s chances tonight versus India.

Hopefully by quarter time we will be leading and the Aussies have taken a wicket or two.

I'm of the view the Aussies will do the job with the ball tonight. I expect Starc to fire up with the old swinging ball and do better on the last day.
I've had some long nights, so it's a good time for a long weekend.

As for tonight's game, all the confidence I had at the beginning of the year, has been diminished. There is something just not right currently within the playing group. I'm not buying all the talk that everything is right. Hope I'm wrong.

I'm bracing myself for these losses tonight.
