Unfortunately Docherty has been pretty ordinary this year - too many rushed/dumped kicks he seems to have less time with the ball in hand which is a sign that it might have all caught up with him.

I reckon Doc has been collecting the hot potato more than ever and he's gaining mileage.
With the current game plan (I think), Docs great numbers stand out even more given he's kicking to a 50/50 proposition, as far as he can from the hot spot he's been put in by the incompetencies/ mistakes of others...some of the time.

I reckon Doc plays for us like he is an All Australian. He gets us out of trouble, and we get him into trouble.

Is he harshly judged because he in a different class than most?
