Something a bit light hearted to enjoy in Carlton-Collingwood week:

But that was using the Seven broadcast vision. And new footage from the rarely-seen ABC broadcast, shared on social media this past weekend, has a better view of Harmes and the ball.

On that version of the broadcast it appears clear the ball was in play - or more to the point, not fully out-of-bounds - making the flag-winning play legal.

Now we need Rhett onto the greatest mystery of our time. What the hell was that thing in the crowd for Andrew Walker's mark?

It’s more fun listening to Collingwood fans sook up about after these 44 years - and after all with respect to football we haven’t got too much to enjoy lately.

Actually, that one was solved a long way back..

I think JackWorrall/Kismet1964 posted about it back on The Blue View or CSC.

I reckon it got hidden away by a Collingwood supporting ABC employee so they could keep bitching about how they got robbed.

Sen  t from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've mentioned this before, goal umpire was from a very passionate Essendon* family, I knew his brother.
I have no doubt that he knew it was touched.
