He was very visible early last year, hugging Vossy after each win, in the dressing rooms with the players. Happy to be interviewed. Gone missing suddenly. Where is he and what's he doing? |

Wasn’t he also working directly with the mids? Maybe that’s the missing link? Hope he’s ok re CTE but suspect that may be part of the reason, reading between the lines. I’m not so critical of the appointment thought - he is the type of direct talker that we need. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Thought it was good appointment at the time as long as it was a short term appointment - 12 to 18 months max. Given his issues, didn't think he'd be any good long term and given where we were, was kinda a feel good moment having one of our greats back for a bit. Time to move on though and have someone for the longer term, assuming this role is still needed. |

Back in 2010, I was working at Optus Essendon*, and Diesel came in to get his phone fixed. Even then, he was cooked. The lights were on, but nobody was home. I was staggered when he was given a board position. To be fair, he actually seems more with it now, from what I've seen on TV over the last couple of years. Maybe it comes and goes, and I just caught him on a really bad day? That same year, Sticks came into the shop too. Ripper of a bloke. #coolstorybro |
